KEAM 2017 application fee is Rs. 800 for general category candidates and Rs. 400 for SC candidates. ST candidates are exempted from fee payment. Enter the KEAM 2017 Application number and Password to view the details of the application submitted by them.
Use Edit button to correct any mistakes in the details of the KEAM application form.
Candidates can correct the Mobile number and e-mail ID
Applicants should click the menu item âMemoâ provided in the Home page to view the details of the defects in the application submitted.
If needed, they can take a printout of the Memo and the required proformas for correcting the defects in their application.
In case of defects in photograph/signature/thumb impression, candidates can upload correct photograph/signature/thumb impression through the links provided in the correction window.

Candidates had to send the application form of KEAM along with the required certificates/documents to correct the defects in their application by registered post/speed post/hand delivery
Corrections in KEAM application form 2017 can be done on or before 5th April 2017.
Candidates with defects in their KEAM application form with respect to photograph/signature/thumb impression were not able to download their admit card of KEAM unless the defects are corrected within the stipulated time.
Students who do not correct the defects in their application with in the stipulated time will not be included in the rank list for the year 2017.
The claims for Communal/Special Reservations and other benefits of those who have submitted defective certificates/documents for the respective claims shall be disallowed unless they submit the required documents to correct those defects within the stipulated time.
Prerequisites - KEAM application form 2017
Candidates must keep the following ready before filling the KEAM 2017 Application Form. This ensures that candidates can smoothly fill the application form and submit the same without needing to search for the details and images as required.

How to Fill KEAM application form 2017?
There are 6 steps involved in filling the KEAM 2017 application form. All the steps are mandatory for candidates.

Step 1 â Candidate's Registration
To register for KEAM 2017 , candidates need to enter the following details
Name: the name must be as per the SSLC certificate and should not start with an initial. Candidates should not put dots between. Instead they must enter a blank space
Date of Birth: the date must be as mentioned in Xth certificate/birth certificate and in DD/MM/YYYY format. Age proof must be attached along with printout of the application.
Email ID: This should be valid till the end of the admission process.
Mobile number. enter a valid number without 0.
Password: Candidates should enter a strong password.
Important Guidelines for the password are:
It should have minimum of 8 characters
It must contain at least one alphabet [a to z or A to Z]
It also must contain at least one number [0 to 9]
It should contain at least one symbol [! @ # $ % ^ & *]
A word of caution: Check details before submission. Applicants can use the edit option to change the details before final submission. Editing cannot be done after the submission.
The system will generate a unique KEAM 2017 Application Number. All candidates are advised to preserve this application number along with the password, which will be used for future references.
Note: In case the candidates forget their KEAM 2017 application number, they should click on âForgot Passwordâ, which will enable them to get access to their unique KEAM 2017 application number by entering date of birth, name and email ID.
Step 2 â Upload Images
While candidates start filling the KEAM 2017 application form, first of all they need to upload a digital photograph as per the following guidelines/specifications.

How to upload the photograph?

Guidelines/specifications for uploading photograph:
All candidates must adhere to the guidelines for uploading the photograph or else the application is liable to rejection.
Photograph should be taken in a professional studio. No photograph taken from mobile/tab will be entertained.
The photograph should be a coloured one (passport size/format) with preferably white background. Any light coloured background is also workable.
Frontal full face with shoulder portion of the candidates should be clearly visible in the photograph. The face of the candidate in the photograph should be straight and at the centre.
Photograph with dark glasses and cap will be rejected.
All candidates must print their name and date of photo taken at the bottom portion of the photograph. The letters should be in black colour with white background of the photograph.

Step 4 â KEAM Application fee payment
At this stage, the applicants need to pay the application fee.

Mode of Payment
Candidates can pay the application fee through the 2 following modes:
Payment through Online mode: KEAM 2017 Application Fee payment can be done through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card
Pay the fee using your net banking/credit card/debit card
If the payment transaction is successful, the applicant will be directed to the home page wherein the Payment Tab will reflect with Green colour.
In case the payment is unsuccessful, a message will appear on the Payment Tab and the candidate has to pay again by login.
In case there is no status/final confirmation about the transaction or the payment, then the candidate must again login and pay. Check the Payment Tab before making the payment again. If the tab is green, then the payment is successful, if not, then pay again.
In any case if the money is debited from the applicantâs account despite the unsuccessful fee payment, the candidates have to pay again. The amount debited earlier will be credited back to their account in the next 5 days.
Payment through E-Challan
Candidates paying through E-challan need to take a printout of e-Challan by clicking on âPrint e-Challanâ. They can pay the application fee in cash
Payment at all Head and Sub-Post Offices in Kerala state by using e-Challan generated during online submission of application.
Payment at any of the selected State Bank of Travancore (SBT) branches by using e-Challan.
Selected branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) in India or all Head and Sub-Post Offices in Kerala.
Candidates are required to print the e-Challan and hand it over to the bank/post office along with the cash
Necessary entries will be made by the bank/post office officials both in their online portal and e-Challan form
The e-Challan must be collected back from the bank/post office official
Candidates must ensure that the official has recorded the Transaction ID related to fee payment on the candidateâs copy of the e-Challan and put
the office stamp and his/her initials at the place designated for it on the counterfoil. Rs. 25 need to be paid as service charge in addition to the Application Fee.
If the payment is successful, the âPayment Application Feeâ tab on the candidateâs home page will turn green.
Candidates must login to the website and check the status of the fee payment. This can be done through fee âPaymentâ tab, through which the applicants will get to know that the fee status has been updated by the bank/post office officials.
Important: In case the payment tab doesn't turn green, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned bank/post office and get the payment status updated. âReceived by CEEâ status will turn in light green color background, when the application received by the CEE office. It will be updated only when the application will be taken for scrutinizing and not at the time of receiving. Moreover, a message will be sent to your mobile phone regarding receiving status.
Defects in Application or certificates?
During scrutiny of application, if there any defects are found in your claim or in certificates such as failure of producing Nativity, defects in certificate produced, etc., you will get a Memo while trying to download the Admit Card. In such cases, defects will be mentioned in the Memo. Necessary documents for correcting the defects should be sent to CEE office on or before the specified date along with the Printout of Memo sheet.

Step 5 - Print KEAM Application Form 2017
Print KEAM 2017 Application Form feature will be enabled only if the candidate has paid the application fee successfully. After printing the e-challan, candidates must log out from the application portal. After fee payment at any of the Post offices in Kerala or selected branches of SBT, they must re-login or log in to the portal again to take the printout of KEAM application form. At this stage, candidates have to take print out of the filled in application form, which contains the main page of application and
proforma (s) of supporting document (s) according to the various claims. They have to take and preserve printout of KEAM Application Form 2017. After taking the printout of the application, logout from your application portal to avoid any trouble.
Candidates need to take a print copy of the photograph (3.5X4.5 cm) they have uploaded and get it affixed on the given space in the printout of the application. Once it's done, it should be duly attested by a gazetted officer/head of institution where the candidate has last studied.
The photograph uploaded by the candidates and the one affixed on the printout of application of KEAM 2017 should be similar/identical or else the application will be rejected. The candidate's admit card, data sheet and allotment memo will carry this same photograph.
The applicants and their parents need to sign on the printout of KEAM 2017 application form in the specified areas.
Also affix your left hand thumb impression at the specified place on the printout of KEAM application form 2017.
They also have to get the course and nativity certificate in the required format available in the body of the printout of KEAM application form.
For claiming reservation, the candidates have to attach the relevant certificates issued by the concerned authorities.
Step 6 â Send the Printout of KEAM Application Form & Documents to CEE Kerala
The candidates have to finally send the printed KEAM Application Form 2017 to CEE, Kerala along with the following documents at the address mentioned below in the order mentioned. Enclose the application with the supporting documents in an A4 size envelope and send it to the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations before the specified last date on the receipt of application. Along with the printed application form an address slip will also be available. Glue the address slip and paste it on an A4 size envelope and enclose properly all the documents and the KEAM application form.

For availing income based fee concession/scholarship:
If candidates want to avail the scholarship/fee concession, all candidates, except SC/ST/OEC category are required to also submit income certificate along with the application form.
Certificates to be submitted by Keralites Category:
Photocopy of Secondary School Leaving Certificate of the candidate showing the place of birth in Kerala.
Photocopy of Secondary School Leaving Certificate of either of the parents of the candidate showing Place of Birth in Kerala with the relevant certificate to establish the relationship between the parent and the candidate.
Photocopy of Passport of the candidate, issued by Government of India, showing Place of Birth in Kerala or of either of the parents of the candidate showing Place of Birth in Kerala.
A certificate of birth from the authority competent to register birth (Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation) showing the candidateâs or either of the parents' place of birth in Kerala (to be issued by a competent registering authority).
A certificate from the Village Officer/ Tahsildar as a proof to show that the candidate or his/her father/mother was born in Kerala (in the prescribed format).
A certificate from the competent authority showing that the parent of the candidate is an All India Service officer allotted to Kerala Cadre.
Certificates to be submitted by Non-Keralites Category I [NK I]:
A certificate by the employer of candidateâs parent is serving/served, and a certificate showing class XI & XII is studied in Kerala. This has to be obtained from the head of institution where the candidate has last attended school.
A certificate of residence from the Village Officer/ Tahsildar as a proof that the candidate has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of five years within a period of twelve years.
A school certificate showing that the Std. VIII to XII is studied in Kerala. It should be obtained from the Head(s) of the educational institution(s) in Kerala to prove that the candidate has undergone his/her studies in the schools in Kerala.
Certificates to be submitted by Non-Keralites Category II [NK II]:
Certificate of Completion of Qualifying Examinationâ in the prescribed format to prove their nativity
Copy of Passport issued by Government of India to prove Indian citizenship
Certificates to be submitted by SC/ST/OBC Category:
Submit the following documents in the prescribed format, placed in the order mentioned below.
Print out of the KEAM 2017 Application Form
Caste Certificate issued by the concerned Tahsildar of the community
Self attested copy of the SSLC (or equivalent) certificate of the applicant to prove date of birth.
Proof of Nativity
Course Certificate in original filled in with signature and seal of the Head of the Institution in which the candidate is studying
Self attested copy of the final year mark list of the qualifying examination
Original certificates as proof in support of any claim for special reservation
Self-attested copy of medical certificate from the District Medical Board in the case of âPersons with Disabilitiesâ
Candidates need to affix a photograph in 3.5 x 4.5 cm (same as the photograph uploaded on the online application form), duly attested by the Head of the Institution which he/she studied last or by a Gazetted Officer. The application form along with all the above mentioned certificates (as per their category) is required to be sent to -
