    KEAM Exam Pattern 2026: The authority has released the KEAM 2026 exam pattern along with the brochure. Candidates can check the exam pattern of KEAM 2026 exam on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. The same has been updated here as well. According to the KEAM 2026 exam pattern, the KEAM exam 2026 will take place in a computer-based format. There are total of 150 questions, there are 75 questions in Mathematics, 45 questions in Physics, and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be answered in 180 minutes. The total marks for the KEAM 2026 exam are 600 for the engineering exam, whereas the pharmacy paper total marks are 300. There is also negative marking for incorrect answers in the KEAM 2026 exam. Candidates should go through the exam pattern to understand the key topics, weightage, time management, and others. The authority will conduct the KEAM entrance exam from April 17 to 22, 2026.

Engineering candidates have to attempt a total of 150 questions in the KEAM 2026 exam. For candidates appearing for KEAM 2026 B.Pharm, the entrance exam has 45 questions in Physics and 30 questions in Chemistry, to be completed within 90 minutes.     KEAM Marking Scheme 2026

    Candidates appearing in the KEAM exam must know the marking scheme of KEAM 2026 to avoid any confusion that can lead to poor marks in the exam.

    • For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given.

    • For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

    • There is no negative marking, if the question is not attempted by the candidate.

    • If two answers are marked in the OMR sheet, then the negative marking will be applicable and 1 mark will be deducted as per the negative marking scheme of KEAM.

    KEAM Exam Pattern 2026 Highlights

    Students are provided information about some of the important points related to the exam pattern of KEAM 2026.

    • All the questions will be MCQs, where students will be required to mark the answer in the OMR sheet.

    • Students will get zero (0) marks in case more than one answer is marked for a question even if one answer is correct. One mark will also be deducted.

    • One (1) mark will be deducted from the total positive marks for every incorrect answer.
