VITEEE 2018 AIR 1, Kalash Gupta focused mainly on completing the syllabus of the examination first and then started to practice and solve mock tests and sample papers intensively. He believes that consistency in preparation is the key to cracking any entrance examination.

The overall difficulty level of VITEEE 2024 was moderate to hard. More questions were asked related to organic topics in chemistry. Formula-based questions were asked mostly in mathematics. For English and Aptitude tests class 12 board-level questions were asked. However, It all depended on the candidates' preparation capability and their study plan. A good study plan will encourage the students to achieve more marks in the VITEEE exam.
Based on students' reactions, the overall difficulty level of the VITEEE paper 2023 was moderate to hard. The Mathematics section had questions from calculus and advanced-level algebra. In Physics, questions were asked from topics like properties of matter, electro statistics, current electricity, magnetic effects of electric current, electromagnetic induction, alternating current, and optics. The Chemistry section had questions from organic only. The English section had five questions and was based on reading comprehension. Aptitude had number series, percentage, and age topics.
VITEEE entrance exam was conducted across 116 test centers in India, in multiple slots from Jun 30 - Jul 6, 2022. According to the candidates who appeared in the exam, there were a total of 125 questions in the exam with a time duration of 2 hours 30. The exam consists of subjects including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Aptitude. As per the students, questions in the Physics section covered some topics of kinematics, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics, Mechanics, thermodynamics, Electricity, Heat Transfer, Magnetism, Optics, and Laws of Motion. In the Chemistry section, there were major questions related to topics Organic, Physical Chemistry, S and P Block Elements, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Reaction, and Alkali. For the mathematics section most of the questions asked from Integral, Vector and 3D, Parabola Probability, Trigonometry, and Algebra. However, all the syllabus of the exam was covered in the NCERT textbook of the 12th standard.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, VITEEE 2021 was conducted as a home-based remote proctored exam. Candidates appeared for the exam through their homes following all the exam day guidelines.
VITEEE was not conducted the previous year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Around 1.62 Lakh candidates had applied for VITEEE 2019. The entrance examination was conducted at 163 centres in India, Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat, and Qatar from April 10 to 21, 2019. According to the candidates who appeared for the examination, the question paper gave around 60% weightage to 12th standard. For Physics section, the paper focused mainly on Mechanics, Electrodynamics and Modern Physics. In the Chemistry section, there were many questions from Physical Chemistry while fewer questions were present from Inorganic Chemistry. Candidates could analyze that in the Mathematics section, more focus was given to Coordinate Geometry and Calculus. Most of the questions for English were from NCERT textbook of 12th standard.
