Ineligible candidates will be disqualified even if they successful complete the application process. The Chattisgarh PET eligibility criteria includes such as of age, domicile, qualifying examination, CG PET passing marks, and more requirements. CG PET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

CG PET exam age limit

The upper age limit is 30 years of age as on July 1, 2025.

Domicile

Candidates should meet the domicile requirements. They will be required to produce residential proof according to the guidelines set up by the Government.

During counselling and admission process, the candidates will be asked to produce their domicile certificate as proof of residency.

Qualifying Examination

  • Should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following optional subjects - Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocational courses.

  • For B.Tech Biotechnology, the candidates should have studied Biology instead of Mathematics in 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination.

CG PET qualifying marks

  • The minimum marks required in each subject in their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination is 45%.

  • Reserved category of Chhattisgarh should have secured a minimum of 40% marks.

Grace Marks

Those candidates who have passed the examination with grace marks will be considered eligible if they secure the minimum pass percentage in each subject. However, the grace marks will not be considered while computing the aggregate percentage for the admissions.

  • General Category - Minimum 10% of marks in CG PET 2025

  • SC/ST Category - Minimum 5% of marks in CG PET 2025
