The authority will likely conduct the CG PET 2026 registration in March 2026. Candidates must have a valid CG PET eligibility criteria to fill out the application form.     CG PET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    To be eligible for CG PET 2026, candidates are required to meet the following CG PET criteria:

    • Age: The candidate's maximum age limit should be 30 years as of July 1, 2026.

    • Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 qualifying exams with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical vocational courses. For B.Tech Biotechnology, Biology instead of Mathematics is mandatory.

    • Minimum marks: A minimum of 45% marks is required for each subject for CG PET and 40% for reserved category candidates in Chhattisgarh.

    • Domicile: Candidates must present proof of residency as per government guidelines.

    I got 1229 rank in cg pet can I get CSE at BIT durge.obc category.also does IT branch good in bit Durg. I got 59%ile in jee main 2025

    With a rank of 1229 in OBC category, getting CSE at BIT Durg is unlikely as past cutoffs were much lower. However, the IT branch at BIT Durg is good with decent placements and can be a good alternative.
