Hello Raghav! Well done on your accomplishment. I think you have the following options based on your ranks:

  1. JEE Main Rank 5764 (General; Karnataka): CSE at NIT Trichy or Warangal is difficult at this rank in General. The good news is that you can get into NIT Surathkal CSE through Home State quota. Surathkal is one of the best NITs for CSE and is at par with Trichy and Warangal in terms of placement.
  2. KCET Rank 165 : This is a good rank. You should be able to get CSE in any of the top colleges in Karnataka - RVCE, BMSCE, or MSRIT. These colleges also have good placements and reputations.
  3. VITEEE Rank 605: With this rank you can easily get CSE at VIT Vellore (including preferred categories). But, NIT Surathkal and top KCET colleges (RVCE, BMSCE, MSRIT) have generally more reputation than VIT.
  4. JEE Advanced and BITSAT : If you do well in JEE Advanced, then old IITs or IIT-Hyderabad would be worth targeting. BITS Pilani CSE is also a very good option, it is as good as old NITs and better than some IITs.

Hello,

Yes, you can write the session 1 exam even if your 12th mark sheet was not uploaded during the BIT SAT application . Usually, not uploading the mark sheet at the time of registration does not stop you from appearing in the exam.

Just make sure to upload the required documents before the final admission process or as instructed by the exam authority.

If you want to be completely sure, you can check with the BIT SAT help desk or their official website for any specific rules about this. But generally, there is no objection for writing the session 1 exam in this case.

Hope it helps !

Writing a BITSAT mock test is a great way to prepare! Here’s how you can do it:

Visit the Official BITSAT Website:
Go to bitsadmission.com (https://bitsadmission.com/) , where BITS Pilani provides official mock tests.

Find the Mock Test Link:
Look for the “Mock Test” or “Sample Test” section on the homepage.

Register or Log In:
You might need to create an account or just enter basic details to access the mock test.

Read Instructions Carefully:
Before starting, read the guidelines about time limits, question types, and navigation.

Start the Test:
The mock test simulates the real exam with questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Logical Reasoning.

If your Aadhaar card only displays your year of birth and lacks the full date (day, month, and year), it may pose a challenge at the BITSAT exam center. The BITSAT admit card requires a complete date of birth to verify your identity. Discrepancies between the date of birth on your Aadhaar and the one on your admit card could lead to issues during the verification process.

Hello Swetha,

Yes, you're eligible for JEE Main 2026 & BITSAT 2026 with your 2025 Board improvement exam marks.

JEE Main: Your 2025 marks count for eligibility. These improved marks will be used for the 75% criteria for NIT/IIT admissions.

BITSAT: Your 2025 improved marks are accepted. Ensure they meet the 75% aggregate in PCM (or PCB) and 60% individually in each. Your "Pass" status must remain.

Ensure results are available by deadlines.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

hi,

Yes, you can still apply for engineering courses even if your PCM aggregate is less than 75%, as long as you have scored above the minimum required marks in each individual subject. Many colleges and entrance exams consider individual subject marks and overall eligibility criteria differently. However, some top engineering colleges or specific programs might require a minimum PCM aggregate of 75%. So, check the specific eligibility criteria of the colleges or exams you are targeting to be sure.

Hello ,

I hope you are absolutely fine. As per your mentioned query , student should have passed their class 12th from any recognised board having PCM ( physics, chemistry and mathematics) or PCB ( physics, chemistry and biology) as main subjects with minimum aggregate of 75% .

  • Contact BITS Pilani: Explain your situation and check for any flexibility regarding the 75% criteria.

  • Consider Other Universities:

    • VIT (VITEEE), SRM (SRMJEE), MIT Manipal—no 75% criteria.

  • Prepare for JEE Main: If eligible, JEE Advanced opens doors to IITs and NITs.

  • BITS Foundation Program: Some universities offer preparatory courses that can help you meet eligibility later.
