AEEE 2020 - Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has started the application process for B.Tech admission 2020. Students seeing admission in B.Tech course in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham can now fill application form in online mode till March 31, 2020. The university will be conducting Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE 2020) from April 23 to 27 (5 days, 3 slots) for admission into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. It is important for the candidates to meet all of the eligibility criteria of AEEE 2020 set by the authorities. AEEE 2020 will be conducted in two modes - computer based and pen and paper based test. It has to be noted that the pen and paper based test of AEEE will be available in select exam centres only. Candidates will be able to choose the mode of exam they want to attempt. The slot booking of AEEE 2020 will be available from April 6 to 10. Slot booking has to be completed by the candidates to access the hall ticket of AEEE 2020. The counselling session of AEEE 2020 will be conducted in online mode and the candidates will be allotted as per their merit and selected preferences. The authorities has released the eligibility criteria of AEEE 2020. The requirements and conditions that have to be met by the candidates to participate in the entrance examination and admission procedure constitutes AEEE 2020 eligibility criteria. If the candidates are unable to meet the eligibility criteria, then they will be disqualified.
Age Limit - Should be born on or after July 1, 1999
Academic Qualification - Candidates should have qualified their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2020 will also be eligible to apply keeping in mind that the minimum marks to be scored.
Marks Required - At least 60% aggregate marks should have been scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Minimum 55% marks should have been secured individually in these subjects.
JEE Main - The authorities will also accept valid JEE Main 2020 scores for admission purposes.
The application form of AEEE 2020 has been released on September 19, 2019. Candidates can access the application form in both online and offline mode. If the candidates do not submit the application form before the final date, then they will be disqualified from the admission procedure. Before filling the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. The given steps can be followed by the candidates to fill AEEE 2020 application form:
Step 1 - Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to fill their name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number. These details are required for registration procedure.
Step 2 - Personal, Academic and Communication Details: After registration, the candidates will have to fill information related to their personal, academic and contact details.
Step 3 - Selection of Exam Centre: The candidates will have to select their choice of admission mode (JEE Main or AEEE). Selection of three examination centres also has to be done.
Step 4 - Uploading of Photo and Signature: Recent passport size photograph and signature has to be scanned and uploaded by the candidates.
Step 5 - Preview: All of the details have to be checked by the candidates and corrections, if required, have to be made.
Step 6 - Payment of Application Fee: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee. Candidates applying through JEE Main channel will have to pay Rs. 300 while those candidates who wish to applying through AEEE 2020 channel will have to pay Rs. 1000. Candidates who wish to apply through both the channel will have to pay Rs. 1000 only.
Candidates can also fill the application form of AEEE 2020 in offline mode. The form has to be obtained from the university counters of the campuses of Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore. A demand draft in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore has to be submitted at the counter to get the application form. After filling the application form, the submission has to be done at the earliest. An SMS with the link to fill the rest of the application form will be sent to registered mobile number of the candidates. The entire application process has to be completed before the final date.

While filling the application form, the candidates will be required to fill their preferred exam centres of AEEE 2020. Selection of centres can be done as per the preference of the candidates. Three examination centres have to be selected and allotment will be done by the authorities as per the preference of the candidates. The allotted exam centres cannot be changed under any circumstances. AEEE 2020 will be conducted in 102 exam centres. However, only some centres will conduct the pen and paper based test.

The authorities will be releasing the syllabus of AEEE 2020 in online mode. Details about which topics and concepts have to be studied for the entrance examination will be present in the syllabus. By knowing the syllabus in detail, the candidates will be able to know which topics and chapters have to be studied for the examination and accordingly prepare for it. AEEE syllabus 2020 will be based on 11th and 12th standard qualifying examination syllabus.

The slot booking of AEEE 2020 will be available from April 6 to 10. Candidates who register for the examination will have to select their preferred exam centre, date and time as per their preference and convenience. Since the slot is based on first-come-first-serve basis, the candidates are advised to book their slots as early as possible. The authorities will assign slots when the candidates are unable to book their preferred slots.

After the slot is booked, the candidates will be able to download their hall ticket.
It should be noted that the slots once booked will not be open for change under any circumstances. The authorities will also not entertain any request for such change.
Those candidates who opted for pen and paper based test will be given one slot by the authorities. Selection of two preferences has to be done out of which one will be allotted to the candidates. The hall ticket will be available after the allotment of centre is completed by the authorities.
The hall ticket of AEEE 2020 will be available for download only after the slot booking is completed by the candidates. Details regarding the examination such as date, timings, venue address and more will be available in the hall ticket. Candidates will be able to access the hall ticket only in online mode, it will not be sent through any other mode. The important instructions related to the examination will also be present in the hall ticket. At the examination centre, the candidates will have to present their hall ticket to the authorities. Without the hall ticket, the candidates will not be allowed to enter the venue and attempt the examination.

After the entrance examination is concluded, the authorities will release the answer key of AEEE 2020. Correct answers to the questions asked in the entrance examination will be present in the answer key. The authorities have however, never released the official answer key for AEEE 2020 till now. If the answer key is released by the authorities or any coaching centres, then it will be uploaded in this article as soon as possible. Using the answer key, the candidates can calculate their probable score before the result is announced.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will be announcing the result of AEEE 2020 tentatively in the second week of May. The result will be made available in online mode. Scores as well as ranks secured in the entrance examination will be present in the result. All details present in the result has to be checked by the candidates for any discrepancies. All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates will also be made available in the result.

The minimum marks which has to be secured by the candidates for higher chances of admission into the institute will be released in the form of AEEE cutoff 2020 . The authorities will prepare the cutoff based on many factors related to the entrance examination. However, it should be noted that those candidates who meet the cutoff will not be guaranteed admission into the institute. While preparing the cutoff, the previous year cutoff trends will also be checked by the authorities.
Registration for the counselling of AEEE 2020 will be open from the third to fourth week of May. The candidates who have qualified AEEE or JEE Main will have to register and participate in the counselling procedure for allotment into the B.Tech courses offered by the institute. The counselling sessions will be conducted in online mode in five rounds. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit of the candidate, selected preferences and availability of seat. A demand draft of Rs. 10,000 has to be submitted by the allotted candidates which will be non-refundable,
