JEE Main Slot Booking 2026 - NTA does not conduct the JEE Main 2026 slot booking process. Therefore, candidates do not have the option of JEE Mains slot booking facility. The authority will randomly allot the JEE Main 2026 exam date and time to all the registered candidates. The JEE Main exam will be held in two shifts on each exam day. Each shift will be conducted for three hours. Detailed information about the JEE Main slot allotment 2026 is intimated through the NTA JEE Main admit card. The National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main 2026 exam session 1 from January 21 to 30, 2026. The JEE Main 2026 registration has begun, and the last date to apply is November 27, 2025.
For JEE Main 2026 registration, candidates should upload a recent passport-size photograph in colour with a white background. The image should be in JPG or JPEG format, meet the size and dimension requirements specified by NTA, and clearly show the candidate’s face without any obstruction.

You should select Jharkhand for the JEE Mains application form because you will be reappearing in the exam as a private candidate in Jharkhand. The state you will be appearing in and your passing year are what you should fill in your JEE Mains application form, but not your 12th class state.
