The eligibility criteria for admission to IIT Bhu ,Varanasi is given below:-
At first , General/OBC/EWS applicants must have at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12 (or equivalent) with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
If the first criteria is matched then go for the entrance exam, Jee main and as well as if you will qualify it then you must give jee advanced and try to get a handsome score which improves your rank and as well as increasing your percentage to get a seat in IIT Bhu by JoSAA counselling .
And
For B.Arch, after Jee Advanced, candidates must also appear in the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) during JoSAA .
IITs also allocate seats reserved for GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD categories, as per JoSAA rules .
And you may get a seat for Mtech in IIT Bhu through achieving a good gate score in gate exam through your relevant domain.
Hello!
If you want to get admission into IIT (BHU) Varanasi, you have to qualify through the JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams. Admission is based entirely on merit and rank in JEE Advanced, which is one of the toughest and prestigious engineering entrance exams in India. Only if you clear JEE mains and score within the top ranks then you are allowed to appear for JEE Advanced. The seat allotment for IIT BHU happens through the JoSAA counselling process. You have to select your preferred branch in which you are interested and institute during the counselling, seats are allotted based on your AIR (All India Rank) in JEE Advanced, along with your category and seat availability in that round. If you belong to the general category, admission in popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics at IIT BHU usually requires a rank under 1,500 to 2,000 in JEE Advanced. Other branches like Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil may accept ranks up to 5,000–8,000, depending on which year you gave the exam. Also, you had passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and should have scored at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST). IIT BHU offers B.Tech in multiple branches and also has dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) programs. So, depending on your interest and rank, you can explore multiple options.

No, you can’t get B.Tech in Electrical Engineering at BHU through CUET UG only.
IIT-BHU offers core B.Tech programs (like Electrical) through JEE Advanced only.
BHU via CUET UG offers limited B.Tech programs (like Food Tech, Dairy Tech) under RGSC campus, not core engineering.
For Electrical Engineering at BHU, you must clear JEE Advanced.
Hello Aspirant,
Both Delhi University (DU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) are elite universities and each has its own merits. Here is a summarized view of the two universities:
In summary, for a career based program, DU is possibly less tedious and better for networking/job opportunities in metros, whilst BHU is a good option for research and higher study opportunities.
Hello student,
It is unlikely you will be eligible for the BHU M.Sc. Forensic Science program with this score(118). Generally the cutoff for ST category candidates is 177 to 191.
While the exact cutoffs vary each year, for the most accurate and current information regarding the cutoff for forensic science or any specific program, I recommend checking the official BHU website or contacting their admissions office directly.
Also I recommend to check this article for more information

Hello Divya, I can help you with information about applying for a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at IIT BHU or IIT Patna, even without being GATE qualified.
General Information and Application Process
Eligibility: While a GATE score is often a primary requirement for Ph.D. admissions at IITs, it's not always mandatory. Many IITs allow candidates with a Master's degree and a good CGPA (like your 8.8) to apply directly. Your strong academic record will definitely be an advantage.
Application Process:
Check the Institutes' Websites: The most reliable information will be on the official websites of IIT BHU (Banaras Hindu University) and IIT Patna. Look for the "Admissions" or "Academics" sections, and then specifically for "Ph.D. Admissions."
Look for Notifications: Keep an eye out for Ph.D. admission notifications. These are usually released a few times a year (typically around March-April and September-October), but it's best to check regularly.
Read the Admission Brochure/Information Bulletin Carefully: This document will contain crucial details about eligibility criteria (including specific CGPA requirements, GATE exemptions, etc.), the application process, required documents, selection procedure, important dates, and available specializations within Structural Engineering.
Online Application: Usually, you'll need to fill out an online application form. Be prepared to upload scanned copies of your mark sheets, degree certificates, GATE score card (if you have one), photo ID, and other documents as specified in the information brochure.
Application Fee: Pay the application fee online.
Selection Process:
Shortlisting: IITs will typically shortlist candidates based on their academic record, research experience (if any), and sometimes a written test. Since you don't have a GATE score, your Master's CGPA will be very important.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview panel will assess your understanding of the subject, research aptitude, and motivation for pursuing a Ph.D. Be prepared to discuss your Master's thesis and any research projects you've worked on.
How to Find the Form Dates
IIT BHU Website: Go to the IIT BHU website ( https://www.iitbhu.ac.in/ ). Navigate to the "Academics" or "Admissions" section and look for "Ph.D. Admissions."
IIT Patna Website: Go to the IIT Patna website ( https://www.iitp.ac.in/ ). Similarly, find the "Academics" or "Admissions" section and then "Ph.D. Admissions."
Check Regularly: Visit these pages regularly (at least once a week) to check for updates and announcements.
Set Up Google Alerts: Set up Google Alerts for keywords like "IIT BHU Ph.D. Admissions," "IIT Patna Ph.D. Admissions," and "Ph.D. Admissions Civil Engineering." This way, you'll receive email notifications when new information is published online.
Important things to remember:
Contact the Departments Directly: If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to contact the Civil Engineering departments at IIT BHU and IIT Patna. You can find their contact information on the respective websites.
Prepare a Strong Statement of Purpose (SOP): Your SOP is crucial, especially without a GATE score. Clearly articulate your research interests, why you want to pursue a Ph.D., and why you're a good fit for the program at that specific IIT. Highlight your Master's thesis and any research experience.
Recommendation Letters: Obtain strong recommendation letters from your professors or supervisors who can vouch for your academic abilities and research potential.
Good luck with your applications!

Hello,
Yes, you can apply for EAMCET counseling even if you don't have a ration card or income certificate, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for your category. However, some colleges may require documents for reservation benefits under the BSc caste category. It's advisable to check with the specific college or the counseling authority for alternative documents or provisions that may allow you to participate in the counseling process.
Hope this helps you
