WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
There are certain conditions and requirements that the candidates will have to meet to be eligible for WBJEE 2021. The authorities decide the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2021 as per the government policies. Before filling out the WBJEE 2021 application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria since those who do not meet the conditions will be disqualified.
WBJEE 2021 General Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
For WBJEE 2021, the candidates are required to be of Indian nationality.
Domicile
Should have been a permanent resident of West Bengal for 10 consecutive years as on December 31, 2021.
Candidates will also be considered eligible if their parents are permanent residents of the state with a permanent residential address.

Points to Remember
If the candidates do not have domicile eligibility, they will still be allowed to appear for WBJEE 2021. However, they will be able to apply for a limited amount of seats.
Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme will also require domicile eligibility.
Those candidates who have applied for domicile seats but are not able to submit the certificates will be disqualified.
Candidates are advised to download the required proforma and keep all of their certificates ready for the process of WBJEE 2021 counselling and allotment.
Age Limit
There are certain age eligibility criteria for the candidates. As per the criteria, the candidates should be minimum 17 years old as on December 31, 2021 or should have been born on or before December 31, 2004. No upper age limit. However, if the candidate is applying for Marine Engineering, then the candidates have to be maximum 25 years of age as on December 31, 2021.
Academic Qualifications
Should have passed the 10+2th (or equivalent) examination conducted by a board recognized by Central and State Government.
Candidates should have qualified Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the following - Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects in the qualifying examination.
The above mentioned subjects should have also been passed individually in regular class mode (theory and practical).
Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2021 will also be considered eligible for the entrance exam.
Marks Required
General category candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in 10+2th (or equivalent) examination.
Reserved category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 40% marks.
Should have also qualified English with minimum 30% marks.

Institute Specific WBJEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Other than the general eligibility criteria, there are some institutes which have specific conditions which need to be met by the candidates for admissions.
Jadavpur University (Faculty of Engineering and Technology)
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (45% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
Individual pass marks (both in theory & practical) in each of the subjects mentioned above should have also been secured and at least 30% marks in English.
University of Calcutta
For all available courses except Jute and Fibre Technology
Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized Council or Board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (55% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
Candidates should have also scored individual passing marks in the above mentioned subjects along with vernacular first language, second language, EVS and minimum 30% marks in English.
For Jute and Fibre Technology
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board and council with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology as compulsory subjects with at least 60% (50% for reserved category students) aggregate marks.
Should have also passed in vernacular first language, second language, EVS and scored 30% marks in English.
West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences
Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent examination) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and also passed individually in these subjects in regular class mode.
General category candidates should have secured at least 50% (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English taken together.
Neotia University
For B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering & Robotic Engineering
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Computer Science as compulsory subjects with at least 60% aggregate marks.
For Other B.Tech Courses
Should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with 60% aggregate marks.
For Marine Engineering
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 60% aggregate marks.
At least 50% marks in English should have been secured in 10th or 10+2 standard.
WBJEE 2021 Application Form
The authorities have released the application form of WBJEE 2021 on February 23, 2021. Candidates are able to access the application form in online mode only. The application process is open up to March 23, so the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2021 should apply through the official website. All of the required personal, academic and contact information has to be provided and the required fee has to be paid. The admit card of WBJEE 2021 will be generated for only those candidates who complete the application process before the final date.

Question: Is there any upper age limit for WBJEE 2021?
Answer:
There is no upper age limit. However, if you want to get admission into Marine Engineering, then you need to be maximum 25 years of age as on December 31, 2021.

Yes. Candidates will be able to apply for the examination even if they do not have the domicile. However, the number of seats available for such candidates will be limited.

Could you please tell me what is the reporting time to reach wbjee centre according to previous record???!
Hello candidate,
In the admit card provided to you for the West Bengal JEE Mains examination, the best time allotted in advanced before the start of the examination is 45 minutes prior to the examination.
The candidates are generally advised to report 45 minutes before on the examination centre, 30 minutes before the start of the exam in the examination hall in order to avoid last moment delays and panics.

What is full form of WBJEE???..

WBJEE 2021 will be conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. WBJEE 2021 will be the common entrance exam for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharmacy courses in West Bengal. There are a total of 90 institutes which accepts WBJEE scores for admission in B.Tech/B.Pharma courses. The exam will be conducted in offline mode (Pen and Paper mode) in 60 cities of West Bengal as well in Assam and Tripura. The exam has two papers, Paper 1- Mathematics and Paper 2- Physics and Chemistry. Candidates have to appear and qualify in both papers for admission in Engineering, Technology courses in West Bengal. Candidates seeking admission in Pharmacy courses have to appear in the Biology part instead of Mathematics. Students seeking admission in B.Arch courses have to appear in NATA while medical admissions are through NEET UG.

in kolkata there are three centre for wbjee , which centre will be the best for jharkhand candidate ???
Hello student all center are almost same you should choose your preferable center as per your own conveniences which is near by, you can easily reach to which center.
I'm not aware of the center location so I can't suggest you the examination center.

Hello student you can choose center as per your own conveniences. Choose center which you can reach out easily. If you're not familiar with Kolkata then you should choose salt lake center because it's quite famous and every taxi person know it properly, you won't get any difficulty to reach there.

The West Bengal Join Entrance Exam has centers on 3 states- West Bengal, Assam ans Tripura. Since you live in Jharkhand, i would suggest you to select Kolkata, Howrah, Asansol or Durgapur as center. This will be convenient for you as you can get bus and train directly.
