KEAM Option Entry 2026 - CEE Kerala will commence the KEAM 2026 Round 3 Option Entry process in August 2026 on its official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Earlier, the authority concluded the KEAM 2026 Round 2 Option Entry process and has now released the Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result. The option entry facility allows candidates to modify existing choices, rearrange preferences, or add new course and college options for subsequent rounds of counselling. Only candidates included in the KEAM 2026 rank list are eligible to participate in the option entry process. The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations has activated the KEAM option entry 2026 link for round 2 on its official site, cee.kerala.gov.in. Note that the counselling process commences with the activation of option entry link. There is no other alternative website to access the option entry link for KEAM 2026.

First visit the official CEE site, cee.kerala.gov.in.
Click on the KEAM 2026 tab.
It will lead to the counselling login page.
Go to the KEAM counselling login window provided on the resulting page.
Enter the details like, application number and password
Enter CAPTCHA code.
After logging in, candidates can proceed to choose the colleges and courses as per their preference.
Note that candidates have to pay an option registration fee, which, upon admission, will be adjusted in the Caution fee.
After KEAM option entry 2026, the authority will consider the choices presented with respect to individual candidates' ranks. Then, the KEAM 2026 seat allotment will be published. Candidates will be able to check the colleges allotted to them through login. The authority will also release the cutoff for each college. Aspirants can refer to that cutoff for further rounds

Getting an SM (State Merit) seat type in the trial allotment instead of EW (Economically Weaker Section) is completely normal. CEE Kerala allots seats based on merit; since your rank qualified for an open, unreserved seat, you were allotted SM.
