Previous Years Analysis for JEE Main 2025 Jan 22 Paper Analysis

Based on the previous year's paper, this year's paper is not expected to be highly different. Mathematics has traditionally been slightly difficult, always focusing on calculus, algebra, and coordinate geometry. Physics, comparatively easier, balances conceptual understanding and numerical problem-solving, with a focus on mechanics, electricity, and optics. Organic and inorganic questions from NCERT tend to be comparatively easier in Chemistry. Questions on the paper are likely to be a mix of straightforward and application-based, and tests your speed and accuracy. Time management and clarity of concepts remain critical for high scores.

stay updated as the cut-off trends vary very year based on various factors . remember  , while your percentile is a significant factor timely application and strategic choice filling during counselling play crucial role in securing admission in desired colleges .

hope this helps

Hello Manas,

With 98.6 percentile in JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch), your chances of getting into MNIT Jaipur depend on the NIT cutoff trends for Home State (HS) and Other State (OS) categories. Since your home state is Maharashtra , you will compete under the Other State (OS) quota , as MNIT Jaipur is in Rajasthan.

Looking at past cutoffs, a 98.6 percentile is a strong score, but admission depends on factors like seat availability, category, and closing ranks for the year. If you belong to a reserved category, your chances improve.

You should check the official JoSAA cutoffs after results are out to get a clearer picture. You may also have a good chance at SPA Bhopal, VNIT Nagpur, and other top NITs for B.Arch.
