QnA related to JEE Main

Ask your question related to JEE Main

For JEE Main 2025, you should have chosen the "Any Board 10+2 System, New Delhi" option.

The "10+2 System by Association of Universities (AIU)" is usually applicable for international boards or non-standard educational systems. Since you are from RBSE board which is an accepted board of India, this fits well with the option "Any Board 10+2 System, New Delhi".

Provided you have opted for it during this time, it means that your 10+2 qualification is from a recognized Indian board, which, in this instance, happens to be RBSE

Important Note:

Always refer to specific guidelines, along with the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2025, on the official NTA website.

If you had filled an application with an incorrect choice, you may contact the NTA helpline or even visit a prescribed centre in person for a correction.

It's always best to seek consultancy from an academic advisor or counselor in case one is ever in doubt or concerned about the application process.

Deciding to switch from CISCE board to a CBSE school for cracking JEE in Class 11 depends on various factors. While the CBSE syllabus aligns more closely with JEE curriculum, transitioning involves adapting to a new system and syllabus, which might initially pose challenges. However, CBSE's focus on JEE preparation through its curriculum and resources can be advantageous. Consider factors such as your comfort with the ICSE system, your ability to adapt, the quality of coaching available, and your determination to excel in JEE. Ultimately, choose a path that suits your learning style and goals best.

Good Luck!!

Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.

You passed Class 12 in 2024 (CBSE) but didn’t meet the 75% requirement, so you reappeared through NIOS in 2025 and scored 75%. Since NIOS is a recognized board and you now meet the 75% eligibility, you’re allowed to appear for JEE Advanced in 2026. Also, JEE Advanced allows attempts in the year of passing 12th and the following year. So as long as you qualify JEE Main 2026 and are in the top 2.5 lakh candidates, you’re eligible.

Hello there,

Yes, you can appear for JEE Mains if you completed your 12th from TOSS (Telangana Open School Society) , provided you meet the eligibility criteria set by the JEE authorities.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains:

  1. Qualification : You must have passed your 12th exam or its equivalent (with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) from a recognized board.

  2. Age Limit : You should be within the age limit for JEE Mains (typically born on or after October 1, 2000, for general category).

  3. Minimum Marks : There is no minimum percentage requirement for appearing in JEE Mains, but for admission into IITs (through JEE Advanced), you need to secure at least 75% marks in your 12th board exams (65% for SC/ST candidates).

TOSS is recognized by the Government of Telangana, so you are eligible to apply for JEE Mains as long as you meet the other criteria. Ensure your 12th marksheet is valid and accepted by the exam authorities during document verification.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hi!

Yes, you can appear for improvement exams under Andhra Board even after a year. Usually, the board allows students to write improvement exams in specific subjects rather than the whole set. For theory papers, you can choose individual subjects. However, for practicals, if your earlier marks were carried forward, you may not need to repeat them. Still, it’s always safe to confirm with your board or school authorities, as rules can slightly change.

All the best!

Hello,

Since you got admission through JEE Main rank (All India quota) , your admission is considered under the open/general category , not the state reservation (NT-C) category.

So, you need to pay the Open/General category fees , not the NT-C fees.

Hope it helps !

Hii

To clear you JEE entrance exam you need a productive and best timetable that will help you to complete overall syllabus. So, here's a weekly time table you can follow:

- On monday pick physics and clear your concept than solve some numericals.
- Then on tuesday Choose mathematics and try to solve atleast 30 questions every tuesday.
- At wednesday read chemistry from NCERT and revise theory.
- On Thursdaysolve previous year question paper and do mock test.
- Friday make your weak topics stronger, clear your doubts of weak topics
- On Saturday do Chemistry with organic, inorganic and also physical question.
- Lastly on sunday learn formulas and short notes revision.

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of jee mains are as follows -

  • Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th.
  • Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
  • Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

So if you 2024 examination and marksheet is considered then you can give two more attempts in jee mains

Hello Aspirant,

You can give 12th boards from cbse board or any recognised board whatever you want but the thing it would be very lengthy and tiring process and in addition to this if by chance you are not able to crack a NIT also then it would be difficult for you in placements.

The other eligibilities of jee mains are :-

  • Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.
  • Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
