Get Success Mantra From Toppers Itself

Who can guide better than the toppers itself. They have gone through the preparation phase, exam terror, pressure and what not. So it’s better to hear the success mantra straight from the horses mouth. They can guide you in a better way in terms of preparation, how to handle exam pressure and more. So this what JEE Advanced toppers have to say to aspirants:

“I adopted an extremely simple preparation strategy wherein initially I focused on understanding the concepts. As for memorizing formulae and such, I kept for the end. My main focus was on Chemistry. I used to generally start studying from 9:00 a.m in the morning. In between, I would take short breaks and I followed this routine till 10:00 p.m. After that I would watch television just to relax. Overall, I used to study nine hours a day,” said Pranav Goyal, who topped the chart of JEE Advanced 2018 topper (AIR-1).

On asking him about the success mantra he have for future aspirants, he said, “If you focus well, your study hours will not matter. The quality of study matter more than quantity. Be calm and focused”.

MSK Manohar, JEE Advanced topper (AIR 5) said, “I started my JEE Advanced preparation in the 1st year. It doesn’t matter how much time you study it’s the efficiency that matters more. I used to focus on my weak areas but also revise my strengths.”

Another JEE Advanced topper, Hemant Kumar Chodipilli who secured AIR 7 said, “To crack JEE Advanced one has to remain positive and confident. There may be times when you are not able to understand the concepts. It is at this time one needs to remain patient and understand the concepts without skipping them. Try to interact with the faculty for guidance. The mantra for success, ‘Be patient, work hard'.”
