In recent years, artificial intelligence is being used more in healthcare. This is something that is widely discussed now. Along with that, quantum computing is also getting attention. Both together sound complicated at first. Even while reading about it, it takes some time to understand clearly.
Earlier, treatment methods were mostly common for many patients. The same type of approach was followed. Now it is slowly changing. More focus is on individual cases. Patient history, lifestyle, and sometimes genetic details are also considered. So treatment is becoming more specific.
In my classes, students are more curious about these topics. One question that came up was whether AI can replace doctors completely. It was an interesting discussion. Finally, it was agreed that these systems only support decisions, not replace them.

AI systems can analyse data and give outputs. But those outputs are not final decisions. They need to be checked carefully. Especially in healthcare, this is important.
Another thing is data. Medical data is not simple. It comes from many places—records, reports, scans, wearable devices. When combined, it gives better understanding. But managing it is not easy.
Because of this, new computing methods are being explored. Quantum computing is one of them. It is still developing. But it is useful for complex problems, like drug research or molecular calculations.
The combination of AI and quantum computing is not quite ready yet. Some approaches first use AI and then improve results further. But this is still under development.
There is also synthetic data. Real patient data cannot always be used, so artificial data is created. It helps, but accuracy is always a question.

There are also concerns. One is understanding how these systems work. In healthcare, relying without clarity is not an option. Data privacy is another issue. Many people are not fully aware of how their data is used.
Also, quantum computing is not easily available yet. It has limitations.
Overall, this field is still in its early days. Not fully ready, but progress is happening. From teaching experience, It appears that students are interested but need guidance to understand it properly.
