    East Point College of Engineering & Technology Celebrates Graduation Day 2026

    East Point College of Engineering & Technology (EPCET) hosted its Graduation Day 2026 on July 27, 2026 at its campus “Jnanaprabha” marking a proud milestone as graduating engineering students stepped into the next chapter of their professional journey.

    The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. G. Parameshwara, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister of Karnataka and Guest of Honor Sri K. Govindaraj, Member of Legislative Council, Government of Karnataka. The occasion was also graced by Smt. B. L. Ramadevi Venkatpathi, Chairperson, East Point Group of Institutions (EPGI); Sri S. V. Pramod Gowda and Sri S. V. Rajiv Gowda, Trustees & CEOs of East Point Group of Institutions, Bangalore.

    Chief Guest Dr. G. Parameshwara inaugurated the Graduation Day 2026 ceremony at East Point College of Engineering & Technology, Bengaluru, and addressed the graduating students. Congratulating the 527 engineering graduates, he wished them success in their careers and encouraged them to prepare themselves for the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly evolving world.

    He lauded Sri S.V. Pramod Gowda and Sri S.V. Rajiv Gowda for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and for creating transformative educational opportunities for young people. He also commended the East Point Group for successfully establishing and operating two schools in Dubai and wished the institution continued growth, greater success, and global recognition.

    Reflecting on India's educational progress, Dr. Parameshwara said that over the past years, the country's education system has evolved to meet global standards, producing world-class professionals in medicine, technology, and engineering. Highlighting Karnataka's pivotal role in the nation's growth, he said the state is at the forefront of India's startup ecosystem and has become a preferred destination for global investments in semiconductor manufacturing, driven by its exceptional talent pool. Referring to the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence, defense, aerospace, and ISRO's landmark space missions, he urged the graduates to take pride in their education, embrace innovation, and contribute towards positioning India as a global leader rather than a follower.

    Dr. Pradipkumar Dixit, Principal, East Point College of Engineering & Technology, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the institution’s academic excellence, achievements, milestones and key placement accomplishments over the past academic year.

    The event paid tribute to the visionary behind the institution, Founder Chairman Dr. S. M. Venkatpathi, reflecting on his enduring legacy and reaffirms EPGI's commitment to delivering quality education. Degrees were conferred upon 527 undergraduate and postgraduate students across multiple engineering disciplines. In celebration of academic excellence, individual departmental awards were presented alongside special recognitions for the Best Student of each Department and the Best Student of the Institution.

Pramod Gowda, Trustee & CEO, East Point Group of Institutions, said: “At East Point, we take immense pride in nurturing engineering and technology professionals who combine technical excellence with innovation and ethical responsibility.
