CIEAT 2018 - B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology has released the application form for the entrance exam, CIEAT, formerly known as BSAUEEE. The application form of CIEAT has been released in online mode on December 19, 2017 for all the candidates. Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the requisite eligibility criteria of CIEAT 2018. Payment of application fee for CIEAT can be done in online mode either through net banking, debit or credit card. Candidates can also pay the fee in an offline mode through the demand draft. The CIEAT entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode at test centres in Tamil Nadu as well as outside the state. The university will conduct the online entrance exam of CIEAT 2018 for admitting candidates in the various undergraduate engineering programmes. Under CIEAT 2018, candidates will also be admitted on the basis of the rank secured by them in JEE Main 2018 exam. At the Chennai campus, the CIEAT 2018 entrance exam will be conducted from April 21 to April 30, 2018. However, at other centres, the CIEAT exam will be conducted on April 28, 2018. - The minimum qualifying marks have been reduced to 60% from 70% which was last year.

CIEAT Application form 2018
The application form of CIEAT 2018 is available in online mode from December 19, 2017. Candidates need to follow the following steps while filling the CIEAT 2018 application form.
Step 1 - Personal Details:
Candidates will have to fill in the following personal details:
- Full name (as given on the qualifying exam certificate)
- Mother Tongue
- Aadhar Card Number
- Date of birth
- Parent's name, occupation and mobile number
- Three preference of B.Tech programmes
- Selection of exam centre as Tamil Nadu or others.
- Address, country, state, city, pincode
- Valid mobile number, email address, phone number
After filling all the above-mentioned details, candidates will have to move to "Next"
Step 2 - Qualification Details:
Candidates will have to mention the following details in the CIEAT 2018 application form :
Select qualifying exam as HSC, CBSE, ICSE or others
Year and month of passing or appearing
- Register Number
- Medium of instruction
- Marks obtained in the qualifying exam subjects, if 10+2 result is available. For biotechnology candidates, Biology marks are needed.
- Upload recent passport size photo in .jpg or .jpeg format with dimensions 30 mm * 45 mm. The file size must be 80 KB maximum.
After completing this step, candidates must move to the next step.
Step 3 - Payment Details:
Once all the details in the application form of CIEAT 2018 are filled, candidates need to pay the requisite application fee amount of Rs 1000
Candidates can choose any form of payment from online, demand draft and cash.
For online payment - Candidates will have to pay the fee online.
For DD payment - Candidates will have to provide DD number, date and bank name while making payment through DD.
For cash payment - Candidates will have to pay the cash amount at the fee counter of the university.
After making the payment, candidates will have to type the text as shown in the image and agree to the declaration. Once done, candidates need to check the preview and submit the form.

CIEAT Admit Card 2018
Candidates will be able to access the admit card of CIEAT 2018 after they have booked the slot for CIEAT 2018. The admit card of CIEAT will comprise of the details that are given below:

CIEAT Result 2018
The result of CIEAT 2018 will be declared tentatively in the second week of May 2018. Candidates who have appeared for the CIEAT 2018 online entrance exam, they will be able to check the CIEAT result. In order to know their results, candidates will have to mention their application number and date of birth. The CIEAT 2018 result will comprise of the ranks and the scores secured by the candidates. The merit list of CIEAT will be prepared on the basis of the ranks which the candidates have got.

The merit list of CIEAT will be prepared after the declaration of CIEAT 2018 result. There will be two separate merit lists for CIEAT 2018. One merit list will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main 2018 and the other one will be the CIEAT merit list which will be prepared on the basis of CIEAT exam.

CIEAT Counselling 2018
The counselling of CIEAT will be tentatively held in June 2018 after the declaration of the of the CIEAT result as well as the merit lists. Candidates will be called for CIEAT 2018 counselling according to their rank in the merit list of CIEAT 2018 and the JEE Main 2018 scores. Candidates will have to be physically present at the time of CIEAT 2018 counselling along with their original documents as well as the fees to be paid in case they are allotted seats. After the seat allotment is announced, candidates must complete their admission formalities.
