Being aware of the percentiles of each of the 3 subjects in the JEE Main exam allows candidates to pinpoint their weak and strong subjects. In case of tie-breaking, the authority will use the JEE Main percentiles of the individual subjects to determine the ranks. The tie-breaking criteria in regards to the JEE percentile in order of priority are the Percentile score in maths, followed by the Physics percentile, and lastly the percentile in Chemistry.
