Candidates can also check the Marks vs percentile for the individual subjects of the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main contains 3 subjects for the B.E/B.Tech.Tech exam. These are maths, physics and chemistry.
65 percentile in maths would be approximately equal to around 17 to 25 marks in the JEE Main marks.
For 65 percentile in the Mains 2026 exam in Physics, candidates can expect to score around 30 to 35 marks.
To gain a 65 percentile in Chemistry in the JEE Mains 2026 exam, candidates will need to score approximately 23 marks
Candidates must be aware of the formula to calculate the JEE Main 2026 percentile. Candidates can use the JEE Main 2026 Answer key to estimate their scores in the exam.
Calculating JEE Main Percentile
Total Percentile (T1P) | (100 x No. of candidates from the session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session |
Mathematics Percentile (M1P) | (100 x No. of candidates appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than than M1 score in Mathematics) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session |
Chemistry Percentile (C1P): | (100 x No. of candidates appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than C1 score in Chemistry) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session |
Physics Percentile (P1P) | (100 x No. of candidates appeared from the session with raw score equal to or less than P1 score in Physics) / Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session |
Being aware of the percentiles of each of the 3 subjects in the JEE Main exam allows candidates to pinpoint their weak and strong subjects. In case of tie-breaking, the authority will use the JEE Main percentiles of the individual subjects to determine the ranks. The tie-breaking criteria in regards to the JEE percentile in order of priority are the Percentile score in maths, followed by the Physics percentile, and lastly the percentile in Chemistry.

Hello,
Yes, you need an OBC-NCL certificate if you want to claim the OBC-NCL reservation in JEE Main .
Here are the key points:
If you want the OBC-NCL quota, you must upload a valid OBC-NCL certificate.
The certificate should be issued by the government and must follow the latest format.
It should usually be issued on or after 1 April of the current admission year.
If you do not have a valid certificate, you will be treated as a General (Unreserved) candidate.
If you apply under General category, then no OBC certificate is needed.

Hello,
No, your form will not get rejected because of this.
If the Aadhaar number and personal details match , the photo on your old Aadhaar is not a problem . Many students use Aadhaar with an old photo, and NTA accepts it as long as the details are correct.
Since you have not done final submission yet , you can try once more to edit the Aadhaar number. If the portal still does not allow changes, just continue with the form. It will not cause rejection.
For the exam day, carry:
Your updated Aadhaar (new one)
The JEE admit card
This is enough. There is no risk of rejection.
Hope it helps !
