No, candidates can no longer challenge the answer key once the objection window closes. The candidate must raise objections during the official period only.
Careers360: Congratulations for your outstanding performance in MHT CET! What was your reaction upon knowing your rank?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: I have scored a total of 195 marks in MHT CET 2018. When I checked my score I was not sure that I will top the chart. However, when my parents, relatives start congratulating me, I felt so proud. Today was one of the brightest mornings for me.
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself. Which board have you studied under? Which school have you studied in?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: I belong from Ahmednagar. I have studied from Maharashtra board. In 10+2 I have scored 92.92 percent. I went to New Art Commerce and Science College, Ahmednagar.
Careers360: Did you also appear for JEE Main? What was your score and rank in JEE Main?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: Yes, I have appeared for JEE Main 2018 in offline mode. I have scored 154 marks in JEE Main. Apart from JEE Main, I have also appeared for JEE Advanced 2018. I am just hoping that I get better score in JEE Advanced.
Careers360: Why do you want to study engineering? When did you decide to study engineering? Which branch would you be interested in? Which college do you wish to apply for?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: I am looking to get admission in College of Engineering, Pune (CoEP) in Computer Science branch. I always wanted to study engineering. My father is an engineer and therefore I want to continue the legacy.
Careers360: When did you start your MHT CET preparation? Tell us something about your preparation strategy and daily routine for MHT CET?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: I started my preparation last year around October. My complete focus was on MHT CET. I use to take coaching from three institutes for each subject- Ghonse Maths Academy for Mathematics, Kandake Chemistry Academy for Chemistry and Pol Physics classes for Physics. On a daily basis, I used to study for 6 to 7 hours after the coaching classes were over. Also, one benefit of taking coaching was that I learnt the trick of managing my time during the examination. I practised with lots and lots of sample papers and mock test. Not only this, the last month before the exam was fully dedicated to practice with sample papers and mock test such that we honed our time management skills and wrote the exam well.
Careers360: Was there a difference in the preparation strategy in the last months of MHT CET considering that the board exams also are during this period? How did you manage preparation for both?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: As such, there is no difference is preparation strategy. However, the trickiest part of the entrance exam is time management. You have to solve 50 questions in 45 minutes. So you need to practice a lot. And for me practicing lot of sample papers and mock test was a challenge while preparing for the boards. I think this was the only reason why I scored fewer marks in JEE Main. I know I could have scored better in JEE Main, but managing the time was a real challenge for me.
Careers360: Are there any special books that you feel have helped with your MHT CET preparation? Are the school text books adequate for preparing for MHT CET and Class XII?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: I have mainly referred to books that were prescribed by my coaching professors. Apart from that I also used notes given by my coaching institutes as well as text books of class XII books (Maharashtra board). Solving sample/last year papers also helped me a lot to prepare for MHT CET 2018.
Careers360: Did you face any problem during the MHT CET examination? Which subject was the easiest and which was the toughest? What do you think is a tough thing to manage during the exam?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: As such I didn’t face any problem during the examination. The only thing which was quite challenging was, managing time. Physics and Mathematics was easy, however, Chemistry was quite lengthy.
Careers360: This year also three questions were found wrong and full marks awarded to all students. Did you attempt these questions? What is your opinion about this – should only students who have attempted the questions get the marks or all should?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: Yes, 2 questions in Mathematics were declared incorrect. However, out of these 2 two, one was completely wrong for which awarding marks to all candidates was correct. But the other question was correct. It was the answer key that was wrong. So, I think awarding marks for this question to all the candidates were wrong.
Careers360: What do you think are the key factors behind your stupendous success in MHT CET?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: My mother is the sole factor behind my success. Her continuous backing and motivation helped me crack the exam successfully in flying colours. My father was equally supportive in spite of his busy schedule.
Careers360: How did you unwind yourself during the preparation? What are your hobbies? How often could you pursue them?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: My father always says‘A change is as good as rest’. So whenever I used to feel bored or sleepy, I use to rotate the subjects I needed to study. If I was solving mathematical problems, I switched to Physics or Chemistry just to give an example. My mother always comes to my rescue in difficult times. Just talking to her makes me feel fresh and energetic.
Careers360: Who is your ideal or biggest inspiration in life and why?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: Tukaram Mundhe, a famous IAS officerin Maharashtra is my inspiration. This 43 year old leader is serving as the chairman and managing director of Pune Municipal Transport Corporation Limited.
Careers360: You know you are an inspiration to thousands of students across the country. Do you have any message for future aspirants on tackling the MHT CET exam?
Abhang Aditya Subhash: Dedication and hard work is the only success mantra that can allow you to reach your dreams. During the examination, don’t panic, keep your mind cool and focus on your goal. If you have done your work then nothing can come between you and your success.
I GOT 72 persentile (GOBCH) in MHTCET and I want to pursue BTech CSE, AI, AI-DS,ai-ml,IT, (anyone) so which college can I get in Pune

Hello,
An MBA entrance test called MHCET is held to admit students to Maharashtra management institutes. Numerous thousands of candidates take the test each year in hopes of receiving calls from the best B schools in the region. But because of this worldwide pandemic, fewer people are applying, particularly because most tests are now either being postponed or cancelled. But some students wonder how many times they may register for and take the MHCET exam.
Let's be realistic, then. It is undoubtedly impossible to apply for the exam hundreds of times. You will only get one attempt in total. You should put a lot of effort into your preparation if taking the MHCET will help you accomplish anything significant.
Good Luck!!
