Following the month of December, you will need to start focusing on your board examination. Remember that the board exam is equally important because you need to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST category) or be in the top 20 percentile of your respective board to be eligible for admissions into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. However, make sure you follow your weekly revision and do not stop attempting mock tests and solving sample papers. The usual gap between the 12th standard board examination and JEE Main is about a month. During this month, try to complete your revision and do not learn new chapters or topics. This may cause confusion and lead you to pay less attention on those topics which you have already studied.

Some important preparation tips to help your 1 year study plan for JEE Main 2020 are listed below:

I scored 87% In JEE MAINS JANUARY 2020 and I am an SC candidate. Please predict my category rank and can I get CSE or IT in IIIT Lucknow

NILUTPOL Student Expert 26th May, 2020
Hello,
Your rank for the percentile you mentioned will be around 150000 in general cateogry and 7500 in sc cateogry.
So with that rank, you won't be getting a seat in IIIT Lucknow. Also with that rank you won't be getting any NITs and IIITs. But with that you might get some good state government engineering colleges. Also,if you go for any private engineering colleges, you might get a good scholarship for that rank as they often give scholarships.
Here's a link https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/ranking/top-private-engineering-colleges-in-India&ved=2ahUKEwicn7HdhNHpAhUCT30KHZG7B1AQFjAMegQIBhAB&usg=AOvVaw3ZtyjIynwh5jLDs3nOHHoU
