Hello,

No, you shouldn't fill your JEE Mains form with your UP caste certificate. Since the Delhi caste certificate is for your permanent address, you must use the UP caste certificate. You will need to provide the Delhi caste certificate for the counselling process at the end of the year, as it will be required for document verification.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Hello, For the upcoming JEE Mains, your caste certificate from Uttar Pradesh will be enough, and you do not need to get a new one from Delhi.

However, the critical point is to ensure your certificate meets the requirements for a central government examination.

  • JEE Mains is a central examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Therefore, it requires a caste certificate that is valid for the Central Government, not just the state government.

Check the format. If it matches the one in the JEE Main brochure, you are good to go. If not, you must get a new one issued in the central format from Uttar Pradesh.

Hope it's helpful to you.

Hello,

JEE has two exams:

  1. JEE Main : for NITs and eligibility for JEE Advanced.
  2. JEE Advanced: For IITs

The percentage or marks needed to get seat in NITs and IITs are:

  • For NITs, aim for 150+ marks in JEE Main.
  • For IITs, aim for 50-60% marks in JEE Advanced.
  • Focus on concepts, practice, and take mock tests for best results.

Heya,

Yes, you can refill your category again. In the case of the April session JEE Main registration, you have the option to change your category while registering your details only once. You can switch from General to EWS if you have a proper certificate. Just be certain that the EWS certificate is granted before the last date of the April session form and complies with the NTA's requirements of validity.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello,

To score 150 marks in JEE Mains is really a good aim, you can follow the below guidelines to achieve it.

1. Have conceptual clarity in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

2. NCERT is the foundation for many questions, so focus on the NCERT books.

3. Prepare a proper schedule and follow accordingly.

4. Give tests after completing certain topics. You can also consider giving mock tests to improve yourself.

5. Revise regularly because retention of topics is very important.

6. Don't ignore any topic.

7. Cut the distractions, stay healthy and study well consistently.

Hello,

Yes, you can get admission in DTU and IIIT Hyderabad with an outstanding JEE Main rank, as long as you pass Class 12 with at least 60% marks in PCM.

if we talk about DTU (Delhi Technological University) — you must have at least 60% in PCM and pass all subjects. The 75% rule is not strictly applicable here, so you can get admission based on your JEE Main rank and Delhi quota, if applicable.

For IIIT Hyderabad, admission is based on JEE Main percentile/rank, but the institute also requires a minimum of 60% in Class 12 (PCM). So, even with less than 75%, you are eligible if you meet this 60% requirement.

Hope you understand. ALL THE BEST.
