If you did not opt for a scribe during JEE Main 2025 Session 1 but wish to do so for Session 2, and the application form does not provide this option, you can follow these steps:

Review Eligibility Criteria : Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for availing a scribe. According to the guidelines, candidates with benchmark disabilities such as blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected), and cerebral palsy are eligible for a scribe, subject to the production of a certificate stating the necessity of a scribe.

Hello there,

If your JEE Advanced rank is between 3000-10000 , you have a chance to get admission to top IITs , though the options might be limited to certain branches and newer IITs. Here’s what to expect:

IITs you might consider :
- Some of the older IITs (like IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Patna, etc.) could offer branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering .
- Newer IITs (like IIT Dharwad, IIT Ropar, etc.) may also have Computer Science, Electrical Engineering , or Mechanical Engineering depending on their cutoffs.
Popular Branches : Highly popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics may be out of reach, but branches like Civil, Metallurgy, or Mechanical are still possible.
Other Options : You can also consider applying for Dual Degree programs in various IITs which might have a slightly lower cutoff.
Counseling : During the JoSAA counseling , you'll get a chance to opt for preferred IITs and branches, but your rank may limit some options.
