JEE Main 2026 Biometric Verification - NTA has announced that face authentication is to be done for Jan 28 and 29 exams. This is in addition to the JEE Main biometric verification 2026 process. The authority will do the face authentication and JEE Main 2026 biometrics verification based on Aadhaar at the exam centre before entry. Facial and fingerprint scanning come under JEE Main 2026 bio-metric verification. Candidates will not be allowed into the JEE Main 2026 exam centre without completing the biometric verification. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 results for over 13 lakh candidates. The NTA has not declared the score of 68 candidates as they were found indulging in unfair means practices, discrepancies in the identity verification.

NTA usually conducts the JEE Main 2026 biometric verification in a particular order. The order of steps of the JEE Main biometric verification 2026 is as follows.
The JEE Main 2026 admit card and photo ID are verified by the authorities.
Candidates have to then scan their fingerprint at the biometric kiosk.

While appearing for the JEE Main biometric verification 2026, candidates must ensure they have the following documents to help in the verification.
JEE Main 2026 admit card (printed copy)
Valid photo ID proof, like Aadhaar Card, passport, Voter ID, PAN Card or Driving Licence
Candidates must submit their original ID proofs along with the admit card for verification. The exam authorities will not accept Xerox or digital copies.
