If you don’t get a seat in Round 3 also, you will automatically move to the next round, but you will also be given an EXIT option. This allows you to withdraw from the counselling process completely. So yes, after Round 3 with no allotment, you can choose to exit. Always check the official COMEDK portal for updates before making your decision.
With a COMEDK rank of 47505, getting ECE in round 3 will be difficult in top or mid tier colleges because the cutoff for ECE generally closes much earlier. At this rank, you are more likely to get branches like Mechanical, Civil, Mechatronics, or Biotechnology in colleges like Acharya, East Point, Don Bosco, or AMC Engineering. Since you already got Mechatronics at Acharya in round 1, ECE chances in round 3 are very slim unless in lesser preferred colleges.
With a 27,500 rank in COMEDK 2025, getting top branches like CSE, AIML, or ECE in tier-1 colleges (RV, BMS, MSRIT, PES) is unlikely. However, you can target tier-2/3 colleges where you may get branches like Mechanical, Civil, EEE, Biotechnology, or sometimes IT/ECE in lower-demand institutes. Colleges you can realistically expect include Dayananda Sagar, CMRIT, Acharya Institute, New Horizon, and East Point. If flexible with branch/college, you will find good options.
