UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Candidates who wish to apply for the entrance exam must refer and meet UPSEE 2019 eligibility criteria as prescribed by AKTU. The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2018 consist of terms and conditions which candidates need to fulfil to appear for the state level entrance exam. The parameters like qualifying exam, marks, age limit, nationality etc that candidate needs to fulfil to apply for entrance test is mentioned UPSEE eligibility criteria 2019.Through UPSEE 2019 candidates can get admission to four engineering courses, B. Tech., B. Tech. (Bio Technology), B. Arch., and B. Tech. (Agriculture Engineering). Therefore, depending on the course, the candidate apply for, the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2019 varies. Candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for UPSEE. Otherwise, candidates failing to fulfil eligibility criteria, will not allow to appear for entrance exam. UPSEE 2019 will be conducted on April 21 in offline mode. The application form of UPSEE 2019 will be available tentatively in third week of January. So, candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering admission in participating institutes must go through the UPSEE 2019 eligibility criteria.

UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2019
The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2019 includes the parameters like age limit, qualifying marks, minimum pass percentage, nationality and more. To appear for UPSEE 2019, candidates will have fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. Therefore, candidates are advised to refer and check eligibility criteria before filling the UPSEE 2019 application form. For the ease of the candidates, mentioned below is the eligibility criteria for the reference:
Nationality: Candidate can be Indian/ NRI/ FN/PIO
Age Criteria: No age limit to appear for UPSEE 2019
Domicile: Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the institutions located in UP or whose parent(s) are a domicile of UP can apply for UPSEE 2019. If a candidates have studied or passed qualifying examination from outside UP, they will have to produce domicile certificate of their parents (father or mother only) during document verification.
Also, if candidates parent(s) are not a domicile of UP and have passed the qualifying exam from an institution outside UP, then also they can apply for the entrance exam. However, these candidates will be considered for admission to only 10% of the sanctioned seats available in private institutions affiliated to AKTU.
Not only this, candidates will not be offered reservation benefits under this option. Further seats to such candidates will be allotted based on their UPSEE 2019 merit.
Qualifying Exams & Marks
Candidates must have passed UP Board intermediate examination or 10+2 or equivalent exam. Mentioned below is the combination required in the qualifying examination, minimum pass percentage and compulsory subjects corresponding to the programme opted by the candidate:
Any one of the following Subjects
Physics & Mathematics
Chemistry/BioTechnology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject
Candidate must have passed qualifying exam with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate in three subjects. Also, qualifying exam should be passed without grace.
B.Tech. (Bio Technology)
(i) Physics & (ii) Mathematics or Biology
Chemistry/BioTechnology/Technical Vocational subject
Candidates eligible for B.Tech. courses are also eligible for B.Tech Bio Technology
Physics & Mathematics
Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical Vocational subject
Candidate must obtain minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and passed each subject individually without grace.
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering)
Must have passed qualifying exam with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate.
Also, who are eligible for B.Tech, are eligible for this course as well.
UPSEE 2019 Application Form
AKTU will release the application form of UPSEE 2019 tentatively in third week of January. The application form will have to be filled in online mode with all the valid details. Also, candidates will have to upload scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression in prescribed format. What candidates need to note, aadhaar card details are not mandatory while filling the application form. Also, along with filling form, candidates will have to pay the application fees as requisite by the authorities.
