UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2020- Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 on January 27 along with the official advertisement for the exam. Candidates were advised be aware of UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 are the terms and conditions that should be fulfilled by every applicant in order to be eligible for the exam. The parameters of UPSEE eligibility criteria 2020 includes age limit, nationality, qualifying exam, qualifying marks, etc. However, the conditions for qualifying exam and qualifying marks will vary depending on various B.Tech courses offered through UPSEE. UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
As candidates must be aware about the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 before applying for the exam, the detailed criteria to be fulfilled can be checked below.
Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian national/NRI/PIO or foreign national to be eligible for UPSEE 2020.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in UPSEE 2020.
Domicile: Candidates must have either passed the qualifying exam from any institution in Uttar Pradesh or must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh in order to be eligible for UPSEE 2020. In case of being a domicile of Uttar Pradesh, a candidate will have to produce domicile certificate of their parents (Father or mother) during the verification process.
If a candidate is not a domicile of Uttar Pradesh and has passed the qualifying exam from any institute of the state, he/she will also be eligible to apply for UPSEE 2020. However, such candidates will be considered for admission to only 20% of the sanctioned seats available in private institutions affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Other than this, such candidates will not be offered reservation benefits.
Qualifying Exam and Marks- Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from UP Board or equivalent to be eligible for UPSEE 2020. The qualifying subjects and marks in the qualifying exam differ according to various programs. The following table shows the subject combination and marks in the qualifying exam of UPSEE 2020.
Any one of the following subjects
Physics & Mathematics
Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject
Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate in three subjects. Also, qualifying exam should be passed without grace marks.
B. Tech. (Bio Technology)
(i) Physics & (ii) Mathematics or Biology
Chemistry/Bio Technology/Technical Vocational subject
Candidates eligible for B.Tech. courses are also eligible for B.Tech Bio Technology
Physics & Mathematics
Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical Vocational subject
Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and pass each subject individually without grace marks.
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering)
Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate.
Also, candidates who are eligible for B.Tech, are eligible for this course as well.
UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals
Foreign Nationals/PIOs must fulfill the following eligibility conditions to be eligible for UPSEE 2020-
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates must submit a copy of passport in support of their Nationality.
The application process for UPSEE 2020 had re-started in online mode from July 29 to August 9. Previously, the application form was released on January 27 and the last date to apply was May 31, 2020. The application process of UPSEE 2020 included registration after which candidates had to fill all the other required details along with uploading scanned images of their photograph and signature as specified by the authorities. The last step is payment of fee which could be paid through online mode.

i freezed a seat in upsee round 3 and paid 20000 seat acceptamce fee.But I want to take part in counselling round 5 (special round).Is that possible?How?And even if I am eligible for round 5 then do i have to pay 20000 again for accepting a new seat.
You can definitely take pary in the special round counselling. All you have to do is not report to the reporting centre then your seat will fe cancelled and your money will get refunded. Then you can apply for special round. Special round is conducted for those who did not receive a seat or do not want their allotted seat.

Do private colleges participate in spot round counseling of upsee??
Generally spot round is for the government addied institute for vacant seats but if any private college want to participate in spot they can. This is just depend on the vacant seats and for private college there is another option to fill there vacant seats is management quota. So it just depend on the private college.
