UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2020- Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has released the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 on January 27 along with the official advertisement for the exam. Candidates should be aware about UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 is the minimum terms and conditions that should be fulfilled by a candidate in order to be eligible for the exam. The parameters of UPSEE eligibility criteria 2020 includes age limit, nationality, qualifying exam, qualifying marks, etc. However, the conditions for qualifying exam and qualifying marks will vary depending on various B.Tech courses offered through UPSEE. UPSEE is a pen-paper based examination that is held annually for admission in B.Tech courses in various participating engineering institutes of the exam. UPSEE 2020 will be conducted on May 10. The application form of UPSEE 2020 has been released on January 27 in online mode.
As candidates must be aware about the eligibility criteria of UPSEE 2020 before applying for the exam, the detailed criteria to be fulfilled can be checked below.

Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian national/NRI/PIO or foreign national to be eligible for UPSEE 2020.
Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in UPSEE 2020.
Domicile: Candidates must have either passed the qualifying exam from any institution in Uttar Pradesh or must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh in order to be eligible for UPSEE 2020. In case of being a domicile of Uttar Pradesh, a candidate will have to produce domicile certificate of their parents (Father or mother) during the verification process.
If a candidate is not a domicile of Uttar Pradesh and has passed the qualifying exam from any institute of the state, he/she will also be eligible to apply for UPSEE 2020. However, such candidates will be considered for admission to only 20% of the sanctioned seats available in private institutions affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Other than this, such candidates will not be offered reservation benefits.
Qualifying Exam and Marks- Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from UP Board or equivalent to be eligible for UPSEE 2020. The qualifying subjects and marks in the qualifying exam differ according to various programs. The following table shows the subject combination and marks in the qualifying exam of UPSEE 2020.
Any one of the following subjects
Physics & Mathematics
Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology / Technical Vocational subject
Candidate must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate in three subjects. Also, qualifying exam should be passed without grace marks.
B. Tech. (Bio Technology)
(i) Physics & (ii) Mathematics or Biology
Chemistry/Bio Technology/Technical Vocational subject
Candidates eligible for B.Tech. courses are also eligible for B.Tech Bio Technology
Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Engineering Drawing/Technical Vocational subject
Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and pass each subject individually without grace marks.
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering)
Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category) in aggregate.
Also, candidates who are eligible for B.Tech, are eligible for this course as well.
Foreign Nationals/PIOs must fulfill the following eligibility conditions to be eligible for UPSEE 2020-
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities.
Candidates must submit a copy of passport in support of their Nationality.
Candidates can apply for UPSEE 2020 in online mode only from the official website. The application process has started in online mode from January 27. The application process of UPSEE 2020 includes registration after which candidates have to fill all the other required details along with uploading scanned images of their photograph and signature as specified by the authorities. The last step will be payment of fee which can be paid through online mode.

HBTU Kanpur takes admission into its B.Tech courses on the basis of JEE Main merit list since 2017.
Interested candidate should have passed 12th standard of U.P. Board or (10 + 2) Examination from any other board with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics without grace in any of these subjects. In addition, candidate should have studied a minimum of five subjects (including the above three and English) in his / her qualifying examination. In addition, all other eligibility conditions for appearing in JEE (Mains) Examination shall be applicable to the candidates

only through JEE Main Merit List
