The Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana helps candidates by providing financial assistance to residents of Odisha. The Odisha Government provides a total annual assistance of INR 20,000 for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Candidates can have these scholarships while having other scholarships also. The scholarships are for all UG and PG courses provided by the government institutions or institutes set by the central and state governments. Students from the General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, and EBC categories can participate in this scholarship.

The Government of Odisha launched this scholarship as merit-cum scholarship for students. Candidates must be residents of Odisha and should not have an income of more than INR 8 lakhs. This scholarship provides different financial assistance to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Below is a table containing all the scholarships:

The candidate should check the eligibility criteria below:
The student must be a citizen of Odisha.
The annual income of the family must not exceed INR 8 lakhs.
The candidate must score a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination.
For U.G Merit, candidates must have completed their 12th from a CBSE/ICSE/CSHE with 55% minimum marks or be in the first year of the degree.
For P.G. Merit, candidates must have completed their bachelor's from a recognised institution and are pursuing a master's degree.
For Technical Professional Merit, students either have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board or their bachelor's degree from a recognised college with at least 55% marks.
If two or more candidates have that ideal percentage or marks in their qualifying exam, the family with low income will be selected for the e-Medhabruti scholarship.

The objective of launching the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana was to support the children of the farmers under CM-KISAN for professional and technical courses. The yojana provides financial assistance to the children of small farmers for courses like Medical, Engineering, Agriculture & Allied, Nursing, Diploma and Different trades in ITI in premier institutions. The government of Odisha provides this scholarship based on the merit of students.
The financial assistance provided by the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana differs for every course. For B.Tech courses, candidates must choose courses and colleges under the OUAT. The scholarship amount is INR 60,575 for 4 years.
Below are detailed requirements set by the Government for this scholarship:
The student’s parents must be under the CM-KISAN.
The student must not be availing of any scholarship.
If they need this scholarship, the candidate needs to shift from the previous scholarship to the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana.
Candidates must have obtained merit-based admission in the institutions that have AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education) of the state and central governments.
The student is only eligible to get one scholarship at a time for one course only.
No private institution is allowed to participate under the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana.

The counselling for B. Pharma through Special OJEE 2025 is expected to start around late August or early September. Special OJEE counselling usually takes place after the regular OJEE counselling rounds are over. You can check the official website of OJEE regularly for the exact schedule and updates.
First you have to register for counselling on the official portal , upload your documents like mark sheets, category certificates, and the Special OJEE rank card , then, you will be asked to fill your choice of colleges and courses.
