    OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2026- OJEE Board has published the OJEE 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE eligibility criteria 2026 includes aspects of nationality, educational qualifications, age limit, and more. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for BTech can apply for the OJEE exam. Admission to first-year B.Tech is based on scores in JEE Main. Candidates without valid JEE Mains scores will be required to appear for the special OJEE 2026 entrance exam. The authority has opened the OJEE 2026 application form correction window on March 30, 2026. Aspirants can edit their applications until April 1, 2026.

    BTech

    Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship (AICTE Process Handbook, 2022-23/ 24-25-27) OR Passed 3 years Diploma with at least 45% marks

    (40% marks in case of reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral

    entry are exhausted.

    LE Tech

    Passed Minimum 3 or 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.

    OR Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (the students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream) (The Universities may offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds.

    OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

    What is the Admission Criteria for B.Tech Course in Odisha?

    Candidates looking for admission to BTech courses should have a valid JEE Main score. However, if seats are left vacant after admitting the candidates based on JEE Main scores, then the board will conduct a separate entrance exam known as the special OJEE. Candidates who have not been able to appear in the JEE Main exam for any reason can apply for admission through the special OJEE. A separate merit list will be released by the authorities for JEE Main qualified candidates and OJEE special qualified candidates.

    OJEE Application Form 2026

    The authority conducted the OJEE 2026 registration process from January 28, 2026 to March 29, 2026. Candidates have to check the eligibility conditions before applying online. It should be noted that the authorities offer admission based on JEE Main score or special OJEE exam score (if seats are left vacant). The application form will be mandatory for JEE Main-qualified as well as OJEE special exam candidates.
