Passing Marks Out of 300 in JEE Mains 2026: The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main passing marks on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in Candidates can check the passing marks out of 300 in JEE Main 2026 on this page. The passing marks for the general category in JEE Main 2026 are likely to be around 90–94 marks out of a total of 300. For candidates belonging to the EWS, OBC NCL, SC and ST categories, the passing marks are 75, 75, 50, and 40, respectively, to qualify for JEE Main. Candidates who score above the minimum qualifying marks will be considered qualified. The authority will conduct the JEE Main 2026 exam from January 21 to 30, 2026.

Students who have passed Class 12 or equivalent in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026 with subjects Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational subject, are eligible to appear for the JEE Mains 2026.

Notably, there is no age limit for JEE Main, but institutes might have their own. Candidates can attempt for JEE for up to 3 consecutive years, that is 2024, 25, 26.
