After the release of the JoSAA seat allotment 2026 Round 5, candidates have to visit the website and see if a seat has been allotted to them. If a seat is allotted, then the candidate can take any one of the following choices based on their preference. JoSAA Round 5 seat allotment is the final round of seat allocation for IIT candidates. As per the official counselling guidelines, a candidate who is allocated a confirmed seat in an IIT or IISc after Round 5 has to complete the admission process and join their allotted institute.

The Special Round Enrolment Fee is ₹40,000 for general, OBC & EWS candidates and ₹19,000 for SC & ST candidates. Candidates who have paid JoSAA Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) are eligible for fee adjustment and the amount will be adjusted towards CSAB enrolment fee. Such candidates will only need to pay the balance amount, if any, during registration. Fresh registration and choice filling are mandatory for participation in the CSAB Special Rounds 2026.
