Step 3 - Login to candidate’s account: Candidates will be required to login to their created account and fill the following details as visible:

  • Registration Details: These details are important for seat allotment and should be filled very carefully.

  • Edit Registration: If candidate commits any mistake while filling the above details then he or she can edit them through “Edit Registration” option but this will only be possible if he or she has not locked his or her choices.

  • Choices Available: According to the eligibility of the candidate, the information of the seat and branches available relating to University / Institution will be displayed.

  • Display of Filled choices: Candidates will be able to see the choices as filled by them. All the candidates are advised to fill maximum number of choices of both colleges and courses to increase their chances of early seat allotment. After allotment, their branch may be upgraded in the next round of counselling solely depending on the availability of seats.

Step 4 - Filling of choices: Candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges, courses and university in the order of their preference. According to their eligibility, the information related to the availability of seats pertaining to university, colleges and courses will be displayed on the screen. Candidates must fill maximum choices from the list of available choices. However, they must check the fee structure and programmes offered by the institutes before choice filling. The female candidates applying to IGDTUW for architecture programmes will have to choose B.Arch. as one of their choices.

Step 5 - Choice locking and printing of locked choices: The choices filled by candidates will be locked automatically after the last date of registration. Candidates are required to take a print out of their choices as filled after the choice filling ends.

All those candidates who will eligible for both B.E./ B.Tech and B.Arch. programmes, the allotment of seats to them will be on the basis of their order of choice filling.

  • Candidates will be able to check their allotment status by logging in their account. If allotted, they will have to download their provisional allotment letter, take its print out and report to the institute concerned for document verification. It is to be noted that seat allotment will be provisional and will be subject to verification of original documents and payment of admission fee of the college where seat has been allotted.

  • In case, the candidate fails to report to the respective college within the specified time period with the required original documents then the seat allotted to him or her will be cancelled.

  • If, candidate does not take admission in the provisionally allotted branch in any normal online round, then he/ she will not be considered for participation in any subsequent rounds of counselling except the Spot Round.

  • Upgradation: If the seat allotted to candidate is not his or her first choice, then he or she may be allotted a seat from other preferred choices of the as filled during registration. This allotment will depend upon their rank in common rank list and availability of seats. However, it is to be noted that only admitted candidates will be considered for upgradation before the commencement of each round of counselling.

  • Freezing: If a candidate is satisfied with the branch allotted and does not want to be considered for upgradation to a higher preference branche in subsequent rounds of counselling then he or she will have to submit the online freezing request on JAC Delhi Website using their login. The branch once freezed will not be reverted and will be taken as final.
