Can a student who is not residing in Delhi take admission in the college. And is it worth it to get into this college if the rank for other state is high ?

Aniket Sharma 1st Apr, 2020

hi Mr. Grammer,

Yes definitely you can take admission DTU, no matter whether you live in Delhi or any other part of INDIA. DTU is a very renowned college, not only for Delhi but also for India. The cutoff for outside delhi candidate is very high as outside delhi candidates have 15% quota for getting a seat in DTU only. But still its worth it to join DTU. Unless you are getting same branch in a better college than DTU like NIT TRICHY, IIIT Hyderabad, NIT WARANGAL etc. DTU is a really good engineering college but consider all your options and choose the best engineering college . You can also consider NSIT. Its better than DTU for CSE/IT.

Sarthak Dhiman 1st Apr, 2020

Hello Aspirant.

Yes, you do have chances to get admission into DTU only and only if you're a delhi resistant too. It means that if you've delhi quota too or else the chances of you getting into Delhi Technical University is quite difficult as your rank is quite high for it if considered even with the quota.

Best of luck
