SC Category Rank: 65,896 (Too high for NITs or IIITs)
Chances in NIT/IIIT: Very low (cutoffs for SC usually close by 30,000–35,000)
12th % (92%) is good , but JEE rank is too high.
Try state-level counselling (based on 12th marks or JEE Main).
Private colleges (like VIT, SRM, Amrita) are good options.
You can reappear in JEE Main 2025 Session 2 to improve score.
Use this tool to check possible colleges:

With 65 percentile (EWS) , your CRL rank is likely around 3.5–4 lakh , and EWS rank is also high. Admission in NIT Bhopal (MANIT) is not possible at this percentile.
You have chances in the following colleges under MP State Quota:
Apply for MP DTE Counselling – Link (when active) (https://dte.mponline.gov.in)
Choose low-competition branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical to improve your chances.
Consider private colleges if you're okay with fees and placements.
With a 73.67 percentile in JEE Mains and as a CAP certificate holder (child of armed forces), securing a seat in an NIT is challenging but not impossible. Admission depends on category-wise cutoffs, state quota, and available branches. Keep options open and apply broadly.
73.67 percentile ≈ rank around 2.5–3 lakh (approximate).
CAP quota does not guarantee special reservation in NITs through JOSAA.
Admission chances in NITs with this percentile are very low for popular branches .
Better chance in home state NITs under home quota but still limited.
Consider lower-demand branches or newer NITs .
Look for CSAB Special Round and state-level counselling where CAP quota may apply.
Check GFTIs and IIITs for possible admission.
Share your category and state for more precise advice.
Hello! With a 56.97 percentile and category rank of 193 in the General-EWS PWD category, getting CS, IT, or AI branches at top NITs might be challenging. However, you may find good branches in newer or lower-ranked NITs. Keep exploring counseling rounds carefully.
