    How to Calculate the MHT CET 2026 Marks

    Marking for MHT CET 2026 is done according to the marking scheme specified by the exam conducting body. The candidates in the PCM group get 2 marks each for answering the Mathematics question and 1 mark for each of the other questions (Physics and Chemistry). No negative marking, i.e. questions that are not answered or answered incorrectly do not deduct points from the total. The total marks is the number of correct answers in Mathematics times 2 and the number of correct answers in Physics and Chemistry.

    MHT CET Normations Process

    MHTCET will be conducting examinations on multiple shifts. The candidates will be given different sets of questions in every shift and it is quite possible that in spite of all efforts of maintaining equivalence among various question papers, the difficulty level of these question papers administered in different shifts may not be exactly the same. In order to overcome such a situation, the Normalization Method will be used for ensuring that candidates are neither benefitted nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination.     MHT-CET is a computer based test conducted only at allotted exam centers, not from home or personal PCs, Students from outside Maharashtra can appear for the exam at selected centres during application. Non-Maharashtra candidates usually can't claim state quota seats through CAP and often use JEE Main scores instead.
