MHT CET Seat Allotment 2019 - Department of Technical Education, Maharashtra will release the seat allotment of MHT CET 2019 tentatively in third week of June. MHT CET 2019 seat allotment process will be conducted through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). The candidates who have qualified in entrance examination and participated in counselling process will be required to login to check their seat allotment of MHT CET 2019 by entering application ID and date of birth. The seat allotment letter will appear on the screen. Candidates must download their seat allotment letter in PDF format and get them printed which has to be presented at reporting centres of MHT CET, where they will have to choose their preferred options such as freeze, float or slide to confirm their admission at allotted institute. DTE, Maharashtra will conduct seat allotment of MHT CET 2019 in an online mode in three rounds which will be a centralized allotment process. Candidates will be allotted seats based on their performance in MHT CET 2019 entrance examination and preferred choices. Higher the marks secured in entrance examination, more likely one will be offered seat. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of availability and preferred choices entered.

Steps to Follow after MHT CET Seat Allotment 2019

Candidates must follow the steps as mentioned below after the seats have been allotted to candidates.

Reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC)

Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to download their provisional allotment letter by logging to respective account by using application ID and date of birth. MHT CET 2019 seat allotment letter will comprise of details regarding allotted institute. Candidates after downloading must get the print of allotment letter and report to their nearest Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) to confirm their allotment where candidate will have to choose options for further rounds of seat allotment. Candidates allotted the seat will have to select whether they wish to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats.

  • Freeze: Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not wish to participate in any further rounds of counselling will have to select “Freeze” option. This means that candidates wants to stay with the allotted seat.

  • Slide: Candidates who wish to accept the allotted seat but also is open for upgradation to higher preferred course in same institute must select option “Slide”. If candidates are allotted higher preferred course, previous allotted seat will be cancelled.

  • Float: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in previous seat allotment rounds and now wish to upgrade to any course at any institute will have to select option “Float”. If candidates are upgraded to another course or institute, previously allotted seat will be cancelled.

Reporting to Allotted Institute

The candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to allotted institute to confirm their allotted seat. Candidates will have to get their documents verified and pay the remaining fees.

MHT CET Counselling 2019

Candidates who have successfully qualified in MHT CET 2019 entrance examination will be invited to attend counselling of MHT CET 2019. Candidates participating in counselling process will be offered seats on the basis of marks secured by candidate in entrance examination. Candidates must register to participate in MHT CET 2019 counselling process by entering their personal, contact, academic details and other necessary information required in process followed by payment of registration fee. After successful registration, candidate will have to report to allotted centres for document verification process after which only seats will be allotted to candidates.
