MHT CET Seat Allotment 2020 - The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the seat allotment of MHT CET 2020 through Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). Candidates will have to login using their required credentials to check the allotment following which they will have to report at the designated centre at the given time. MHT CET 2020 seat allotment process will probably be held in three rounds. Candidates will have to download their seat allotment letter and take a print of it for future reference. MHT CET 2020 Seat Allotment

The authorities will release the seat allotment of MHT CET 2020 for all the rounds in online mode through a centralized allotment process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in MHT CET 2020. Higher marks will increase the chances of admission. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the choices filled and availability of seats.

What after MHT CET Seat Allotment 2020

Candidates can check the steps given below to follow after the allotment of the seat.

Downloading the seat allotment letter-

Candidates must login and download the provisional seat allotment letter. Details of the allotted college will be mentioned in the allotment letter. Candidates must take a print out of the letter which will be used in the further process of admission.

Reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC)

After the allotment of seat, candidates will have to report at the admission reporting centre to confirm their allotment where candidates will have to choose options for further rounds of seat allotment. Candidates will have the option to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats.

  • Freeze: Those candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not wish to participate in any further rounds of counselling will have to select “Freeze” option.

  • Slide: Candidates who wish to accept the allotted seat but also are open for upgradation to higher preferred course in the same institute must select option “Slide”. However, it must be noted that if the candidate is allotted higher preferred course, the previous allotted seat will be cancelled.

  • Float: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in previous seat allotment rounds and now wish to upgrade to any course at any institute will have to select option “Float”. If candidates are upgraded to another course or institute, the previously allotted seat will be cancelled.

Document Verification at the allotted institute

After this, the candidates will have to report to the allotted institute and get their documents verified. Candidates will have to pay the remaining fee there.

MHT CET Counselling 2020

There will be three rounds of counselling of MHT CET 2020 followed by a spot/ institutional round if there are vacancies. Candidates have to register, fill their choices of colleges and colleges in the order of their preference. After registration, the candidates must get their documents verified at the designated FCs. There is no counselling fee for MHT CET 2020 qualified candidates.

Yes. you can give MHT-CET, but Outside Maharashtra candidate will not be eligible for Govt. or Govt. aided colleges.
