Step 3: Next, a login window having the default Username and password will appear on the screen. Candidates will just have to click on the “Login” button to start the test.

Step 4: After login, general instructions for attempting the JEE Main mock test will appear on the screen. Candidates will have to read all the instructions carefully, check the declaration box, and click on the “Proceed” button.

• Click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right of the screen to go to that numbered question directly. Note that using this option does not save the answer to the current question.

• Click on Save & Next to save the answer for the current question and then go to the next question.

• Click on Mark for Review & Next to save the answer for the current question, mark it for review, and then go to the next question.

Answering a Question in JEE Main Mock Test 2025

The procedure for answering a multiple choice type question in the mock test is-

• To select an answer in the mock test, click on the button of one of the options.

• To deselect the chosen answer, click on the button of the chosen option again or click on the “Clear” button

• To change the chosen answer, click on the button of another option

• To save an answer, candidates must click on the “Save & Next” button.

• To mark the question for review, click on the “Mark for Review & Next” button.

• To change the answer to a question that has already been answered, first select that question for answering and then follow the procedure for answering that type of question.

Navigating through sections in JEE Main Mock Test 2025

• Sections in the mock test are displayed on the top bar of the screen. Questions in a section can be viewed by clicking on the section name. The section candidates are currently viewing is highlighted.

• After clicking on the Save & Next button on the last question for a section, candidates will automatically be taken to the first question of the next section.

• Candidates can shuffle between sections and questions during the mock test at their convenience only during the time stipulated.

• Candidates can view the corresponding section summary as part of the legend that appears in every section above the question palette.

How to register for the JEE Main 2025 Mock Test at the Practice Centre?

Step-1: Firstly the candidates will have to visit the official website (nta.ac.in). Click on the "Registration (Mock Test)” button.

Step 2: Next, candidates will have to register using their email or mobile number and password. Click on "Log In".

Step 3: Candidates will have to select their preferred date for the JEE Main mock test.

Step-4: The pin code/center where the candidates want to attempt the JEE Main mock test has to be entered.

Step 5: Candidates will have to select their preferred mock test centers from the list of options and click on the “Confirm Booking” button.
