Goa B.Arch Admission 2020 - Directorate of Technical Education, Goa has announced that the submission dates for application form for Goa B.Arch admission 2020 will be announced later. Candidates can now download the online application form, however, the form has to be submitted at the notified centre later. The application form has to be filled with all of the required details and submitted to participate in Goa B.Arch admission 2020. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee through any branch of HDFC Bank in Goa. It must be noted that no entrance test will be conducted for Goa B.Arch admission 2020. Selection of candidates will be done only on the basis of NATA 2020. The authorities will prepare a merit list of Goa B.Arch 2020 on the basis of performance of candidates in NATA exam. Candidates whose names will be included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling of Goa B.Arch 2020. Goa B.Arch 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders and Non-resident Indians holding Indian passports are eligible to apply for the exam.

Age

Candidate must be minimum 17 years old before December 31, 2020

Entrance Examination

Candidate must have appeared for NATA 2020 and obtained qualifying score

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC) in aggregate and with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR
  • Should have qualified 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with atleast 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) marks in aggregate.

Steps to fill Goa B.Arch 2020 application form

Step 1: Download Application Form- First of all, candidates will have to download the application form for B.Arch courses (Form B) from the official website. Candidates can also get FORM B from the GCET 2020 brochure.

Step 2: Fill form and attach documents- After downloading the form, candidates will have to fill the application form completely by entering personal, academic details, NATA roll number, etc. along with affixing photograph at the specified location. Candidates will also have to make a list of documents ready to be submitted with the application form.

Step 3: Pay application fee- Next, the candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 1500 at any branch of HDFC Bank in Goa, in the Account of ‘Directorate of Technical Education’, with client code ‘DRCTORTEDU'. Candidates must note that they will be required to attach a copy of pay-in-slip/receipt of payment with the application form.

Step 4: Submit Application Form and Documents- Once the payment is done, candidates will have to submit their application form along with the required documents at the notified locations.

Step 5: Acknowledgement Card- After submitting the application form, candidates will be provided an acknowledgement card with registration number as proof of application submission. Candidates will also have to attach a copy of this acknowledgement card with the application form.

Documents to be Submitted with Goa B.Arch Application Form

  • Two recent passport size photograph (not taken before 3 months of the application date)

  • Statement of marks/Certificate/provisional certificate of HSSC.

  • Proof of Residence

  • Documents for relaxation in the period of residence, if any

  • Certificate for Reservation (if applicable)

  • Date of Birth Proof

  • School/college leaving certificate

  • Copy of Aadhar Card

  • Income Certificate (in case of applying for fee concession)

  • Acknowledgement card (will be provided after successful application submission) to be affixed with photograph

  • NATA Score card

Note: If the result of NATA has not been released at the time of application, candidates will have to submit a declaration and will have to submit their score card within 8 days of declaration of result.

Goa B.Arch Merit List 2020

The authorities will prepare a merit list of Goa B.Arch 2020 on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in NATA 2020 and the aggregate marks obtained at the qualifying examination (HSSC). It must be noted that the NATA and qualifying exam scores will be taken in the ratio of 1:1 i.e 50% weightage will be given to each. Candidates will be able to check the Goa B.Arch merit list in online mode and it will also be displayed on the notice board of the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa.

Inter se Merit of Goa B.Arch 2020

If two or more candidates have the same scores in NATA 2020, the authorities will prepare an inter se merit to determine ranks of such candidates. The given rule will be followed to prepare the inter se merit.

  • In case of a tie, candidates with higher NATA marks will be given higher rank.

  • If a tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Mathematics will be given higher rank.

  • If a tie still persists, candidates older in age will be given higher rank.

Goa B.Arch Counselling and Seat Allotment 2020

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit list will be eligible to participate in the counselling of Goa B.Arch 2020. Refer to the given points to know about the Goa B.Arch 2020 counselling and seat allotment process.

  • All the eligible candidates will have to be present in person at the Admission Centre at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa for the Goa B.Arch counselling as per specified schedule.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national entrance exam for admission into 5 year Bachelors or Architecture degree at various Architecture Schools of India.

The NATA paper is Divided into 2 parts.

Part A consists of 3 questions of drawing which are to answered on a drawing sheet.

Part B consists of 15 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry and Maths along with 35 MCQs from General Aptitude & Logical Reasoning.

Since you want to complete your syllabus in just two months then you must make a schedule of your daily taska in which you have to study every subject every day and try to complete the entire syllabus in 21 days. After that just solve question papers of previous years. The more you will solve papers the more beneficial it would be.

what iscutoff of nata 2019...?

Hello,
Candidates need to score minimum cut off marks individually in each section as well as need to score minimum over all cut off marks to qualify in NATA.In 2019 the over all cutoff was 70 marks out of 200 marks.And the individual cut off marks were as follows

  • Mathematics & General aptitude: 30 marks out of 120 Marks
  • Drawing: 20 marks out of 80 marks


In 2020 the individual cut off marks for Mathematics & General aptitude is 32 marks out of 125 marks which is 25% marks.And the cut off for drawing is 18 marks out 75 marks which is 25% marks.The overall cut off will be decided after the exam depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc.
