AP Polycet 2020 - State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh has started the extended final phase of AP Polycet counselling 2020 from November 27 to 29. The authorities earlier announced the final phase results of AP Polycet seat allotment 2020 on November 17. The certificate verification of SC/ST/BC/OC/Minorities and PH, CAP, NCC, Sports & Games and Anglo Indian Categories started from October 14. The authorities declared the AP Polycet result 2020 on October 9 on the official website. AP polycet 2020 was conducted on September 27. Candidates were able to download the hall ticket of AP Polycet 2020 in both offline and online mode. AP Polycet 2020 was conducted as an offline exam conducted for admission in engineering diploma courses offered by Polytechnics across the state of Andhra Pradesh. State Board of Technical Education and Training, Amaravati has announced the result of AP Polycet 2020 on the official website. AP Polycet 2020 result includes the marks scored by the candidates along with their ranks. In order to qualify AP Polycet 2020, a candidate had to score at least 30% marks in the exam i.e. 36 marks out of 120. However, there is no minimum requirement of marks for SC/ST candidates, they will be allotted seats irrespective of their scores in the exam. Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible to participate in the counselling of AP Polycet 2020.

AP Polycet 2020 Tie-Breaking Rule
In case of a tie of marks between two or more candidates, the authorities will use the following the tie-breaking rule to determine the rank of the candidate
Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics, will be given a higher rank.
If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in Physics will be given higher rank.
If the tie still persists, candidate who is older in age will be given higher rank.
If the tie still persists, finally the candidate who will have higher marks in the qualifying exam will be given higher rank.
AP Polycet 2020 additional final phase of counselling is being conducted from November 27 to 29. The authorities have announced seat allotment result for AP Polycet 2020 counselling final phase. AP Polycet 2020 counselling commenced from October 12 onwards for qualified candidates. Round 1 counselling has been completed and final phase/round 2 counselling also concluded. Candidates can refer to the following steps to understand the counselling process of AP Polycet 2020.
The counselling process begins with payment of counselling fees and document verification (only for candidates whose documents are not verified online). For documents verification all the eligible candidates have to report at AP Polycet 2020 helpline centres with all their documents.
After document verification, candidates have to register for web-based AP Polycet 2020 counselling.
After registration, candidates have to participate in the online-choice filling. Candidates can also visit helpline centres for choice-filling.
AP Polycet 2020 Seat Allotment
Seat allotment for the additional final phase AP Polycet counselling will be announced on December 1, 2020. The authorities have published the result of AP Polycet 2020 seat allotment for round 1 and round 2. The candidates who are allotted seats, have to download their AP Polycet 2020 seat allotment letter by logging in to portal and paying a fee of Rs 800. All the candidates who have been allotted seats have to report to the polytechnic allotted first by self-reporting (online system) and after that in physical form. It should be noted that both self-reporting and physical reporting is mandatory.
The authorities informed students to download AP Polycet 2020 hall ticket from September 17; old hall tickets were not valid. Candidates were able to download the hall ticket of AP Polycet 2020 through both online and offline mode.
Steps to access Offline AP Polycet 2020 Hall Ticket
Candidates have to follow the given steps to download the hall ticket of AP Polycet 2020 in offline mode
Visit nearest AP Polycet Helpline centre with completely filled application form.
Submit the form to the computer operator.
Computer Operator will enter all the required details of the candidate in an online system and upload the photograph & signature of the candidate.
Once the details are entered, AP Polycet hall ticket will be generated.
Take a print out.
Procedure for Online AP Polycet 2020 Hall Ticket

Login using Class 10th hall ticket number, date of birth, year of passing/appearing of class 10th.
Hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

The authorities had reopened AP Polycet 2020 application form on September 2 and 3. Earlier, candidates were able to apply for AP Polycet 2020 in both online and offline modes till August 4. Due to COVID-19, applications could be submitted in online mode only but candidates may refer the steps given below to fill the AP Polycet 2020 application form in both the modes.
Steps to fill Offline AP Polycet 2020 Application Form
Candidates had to download AP Polycet 2020 application form from the official website and take a print out.
Personal, academic and other required details had to be filled out in the form.
Choice of the exam centre had to be entered.
Enter Category- BC, SC, or ST – under which admission was sought.
Language medium of examination had to be selected - examination in Urdu medium will only be offered at Guntur and Nandyal centres.
A photograph had to be affixed on the specified place and the signatures to be done on the form.
After completing the form, the candidates had to visit the nearest helpline centre and submit the completed form to the computer operator.
Application fee of Rs 350 was to be paid in cash or through internet banking.
The Computer Operator entered all the details of the candidate to an online computer system along with uploading the photograph and signature of the candidate. After this, the operator will submit the form.
How to Fill AP Polycet 2020 Application Form
The application form of AP Polycet 2020 was made available in online mode. The given steps could be followed by the candidates to fill AP Polycet application form 2020.
Step 1: Firstly, the candidates had to select their qualifying board and 10th standard hall ticket number. Uploading of the scanned images of photograph and signature as per the prescribed format has to be done by the candidates.
Step 2: After this, candidates had to fill all the required details of the form.
Step 3: Payment of application fee by Credit/Debit card had to be done by the candidates.
*Candidates who wish to apply in offline mode have to pay the application fee of Rs 400.

Candidates who belong to NIOS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/Other examinations that have been recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt must have passed all subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 35% Marks in each subject.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the application year are also eligible to apply.
