AP POLYCET 2019 – State Board of Technical Education and Training, Amaravati, will conduct AP POLYCET 2019 in offline mode tentatively in the 4th week of April for admission to diploma programmes offered by polytechnic institutes in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP POLYCET Eligibility Criteria 2019
The eligibility criteria of AP POLYCET 2019 are the set of conditions that candidates have to meet to appear in the exam. Among the important AP POLYCET 2019 eligibility criteria that candidates need to meet include that of domicile, qualifying exam passed and minimum marks, which has been explained below.
Eligibility Criteria of AP POLYCET 2019
Nationality – Only Indian nationals can apply
Domicile – The candidate needs to be a resident of Andhra Pradesh
Qualifying Exam – The candidate needs to have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or an equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 35% marks, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The candidate in addition needs to have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam – including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics – with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Age limit – There is no restriction on age limit
AP POLYCET Application Form 2019
The application form of AP POLYCET 2019 will available for download online tentatively in the 2nd week of March – applications will not be available in any other mode. The candidate has to download the application form or visit helpline centres that have been set up for filling the application form under the guidance of coordinators. Eligible candidates should fill the AP POLYCET 2019 application form using correct and verifiable data, or else they will not be considered for admission.
Before filling the form, the candidate needs to carefully go through the instruction booklet. Completed AP POLYCET application form 2019 have to be submitted to the computer operator at the help centre.
How to fill AP POLYCET 2019 application form
Fill in details like year of passing Class 10 and hall ticket number, and date of birth
Enter name as mentioned in school certificates. Care should be taken to ensure that there is gap between parts of the name.
Fill in father’s name.

The candidate also has to enter an exam centre where he/she would like to give the test
Choose the category – BC, SC, or ST – under which admission is sought.
If the candidate belongs to any special category (CAP/SP/PH/NCC), it must also be mentioned.
Choose the medium of exam – examination in Urdu medium is offered only at Guntur and Nandyal centres
The candidate also has to affix a photograph duly signed by parent (guardian) in the designated space.
The candidate needs to visit a nearby help line centre and submit the completed application form to the computer operator. The application fee of Rs. 350 can be paid in cash or through net banking.
The computer operator will enter the details mentioned on the application form to an online system and also upload photograph and signature. Upon successful submission, admit cards will be issued and handed over to the candidate.
AP POLYCET Exam Pattern 2019
As per the exam pattern of AP POLYCET 2019, the question paper of would include 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Of these, 60 will be from Mathematics, and 30 each from Physics and Chemistry. Each question will have four answer options, out of which only one will be the correct option. There is no negative marking. The duration of the test will be 2 hours, with questions being asked from Class 10 (S.S.C.) syllabus.
The test will be conducted in offline mode – candidates will be given Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Response Sheets, where answers have to entered by filling up or darkening the relevant circle/boxes. Only 2B pencil should be used for darkening responses.

AP POLYCET Hall Ticket 2019
The computer operator at the help centre after accepting the completed hard copy of the application form from the candidate will enter the details in the online application system. The operator will also upload photograph and signature and finally click on the submit button to generate the admit card cum hall ticket of AP POLYCET 2019. Candidates must note that the printing of the AP POLYCET 2019 hall ticket may not be possible on the same day as submission of application form due to rush, especially in the last few days. In such cases, the candidate will be able to collect the AP POLYCET application form after two to three days. The hall ticket will also be available online.

AP POLYCET Result 2019
State Board of Technical Education and Training, Amaravati, will declare the result of AP POLYCET 2019 tentatively in the 2nd week of May 2019. The AP POLYCET 2019 result would include both the score and rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. To qualify or be considered pass in the exam, candidates need to score minimum 30% marks, or score 36 out of 120. In case of SC and ST candidates, however, there is no minimum score and will be assigned ranking irrespective of marks they score, for admission in their respective categories.
How to check AP POLYCET Rank Card 2019

AP POLYCET 2019 result will be used by the admission authorities to prepare rank lists, based on which allotment of seats will be made. In case there is a tie, it would be broken in the following order:
Candidates scoring higher marks in mathematics
Higher marks in physics
Finally, the candidate older in age.

AP POLYCET Counselling 2019
The counselling of AP POLYCET 2019 will be conducted in online (web-based) mode around May/June 2019. To participate in the AP POLYCET 2019 counselling process, the candidate has to first register and get their documents verified at designated help line centres. The AP POLYCET counselling 2019 counselling schedule will be prepared rank-wise – so the candidate has to report for counselling on the scheduled day only.
Post document verification, the candidates have to participate in online choice-filling process. If the candidates want, they may even visit a help line centre for completing the choice-filling process. It is recommended that candidates enter as many choices as possible to improve their chances of getting admission or a preferred seat. Also, to aid the choice filling process exam authorities will upload the last rank up to which admission was done in the previous academic session, which can be used by candidates to make informed divisions.
AP POLYCET Seat Allotment 2019
Admission authorities will consider the merit rank of candidate and options exercised for AP POLYCET 2019 seat allotment. The result of AP POLYCET 2019 seat allotment will be published online. Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to download the AP POLYCET seat allotment letter by logging into the allotment portal.
