MP BE Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018 - The seat allotment of MP BE 2018 for JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates (Round 2) and for Qualifying Exam Based Round has been declared; candidates can download the allotment letter from August 3-6. Candidates can now get printouts of allotment letter after second upgradation - Round I from July 24-26. Exam authorities have released the allotment after second upgradation of MP BE 2018 seat allotment for TFW and General Pool candidates (Round I) on July 24. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh is conducting the counselling session. The counselling and seat allotment of MP BE 2018 is conducted in two rounds. Round I is for JEE Main candidates and Round II for JEE Main and class XII qualified candidates. Registration and choice filling for Round II is now open till July 30, 2018. To participate in MP BE counselling 2018, all candidates have to register themselves and get their documents verified. Following which, candidates will have to fill their choice of colleges and courses offered by them in the order of their priority and pay a part of the tuition fee. Candidates are allotted seats in MP BE admission on the basis of their choice filling, merit and availability of seats. After MP BE seat allotment 2018, candidates will have to report at the institute allotted and get their documents verified. MP BE Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018 Procedure

For MP BE admission 2018, candidates will have to participate in the counselling and seat allotment procedure. Candidates can read the steps of MP BE 2018 counselling and seat allotment in detail as given below.
Step 1 – Registration & Online verification of documents: To be able to attend the counselling and seat allotment of MP BE 2018, candidates will have to register themselves and get the following documents verified in online mode.
Class X marksheet
Class XII marksheet
Reserve Category Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (If applicable)
MP Domicile Certificate (If applicable)
Family Income Certificate for TFW & OBC category candidates
- Aadhaar Card
Note: For candidates, who will register themselves and get their documents verified in online mode, the slip for both will be generated. For candidates, who could only register themselves successfully but not get their documents verified, the slip for only registration will be generated. Such candidates will have to visit the help centres to get their documents verified.
Step 2 – Choice filling, locking and part payment of tuition fee: Candidates will have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses in the order of their preference and lock them in this step. They can fill as many choices as they want and also rearrange them before locking.
During locking their choices, candidates will have to pay a total of Rs. 1,530 (non-refundable) as counselling and part tuition fee. The counselling fee can be paid either in online mode through Paytm, credit card, debit card or net banking or in offline mode through cash at help centres.

Step 3 – Seat allotment: A common merit list was released for all the candidates on July 5. On the basis of the merit list announced, availability of seats and choice filling, candidates are allotted seats in MP BE counselling 2018. To download the allotment letter, the candidates will have to log in using their roll number/application number, date of birth, round number and password.
Step 4 – Reporting, document verification and admission in the allotted institute: Candidates will have to report at the institute where the seat has been allotted to them and get their documents verified. They will also be required to pay the admission fee at the institute.
Options after allotment of seat: Candidates can choose any of the following options, if not satisfied with the seat allotted to them.
Upgradation of seat: In case, candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can choose to upgrade it. It must be noted that only those candidates who are applying on JEE Main 2018 basis can upgrade their seat. Candidates applying on the basis of qualifying exam will not have this upgradation option with them.
Internal branch sliding: Candidates who have been allotted seats can opt for internal branch sliding in the same institute against the vacant and the dropout seats. For this, candidates will have to pay the portal fee of Rs.100.
Note – A special round of MP BE counselling and seat allotment 2018 will be conducted for vacant seats for admission to govt., private, self-financed and government-funded institutes. This round will also be conducted on the basis of JEE Main 2018 and class XII merit.
In case, there are vacant seats, a round of MP BE counselling and seat allotment will be conducted for private institutes only.
