    They should have obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate, with at least 30% marks in each subject with English, Math and Science subjects in the qualifying examination

    Odisha Diploma 2025 Merit List

    SCTEVT will prepare the Odisha Diploma merit list 2025 online. The merit list will be based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. There is one general list and a separate category-wise merit list released by the authorities. There is a separate merit list as well prepared based on domicile and category of candidates. Candidates having their names on the Odisha Polytechnic merit list 2025 will be called up for counselling based on the ranks obtained.

    Odisha Diploma Admission 2025 Merit List- Tie-Breaking Rule

    There are cases when two or more candidates stand on the same pedestal for Odisha Polytechnic 2025 due to having secured the same marks in the qualifying exam. In such cases, the authorities have issued the following guidelines to assign ranks:

    • Candidates having secured a high percentage of marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher

    • If the tie persists, Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Science will be given a higher rank.

    • If the tie still remains, Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in English will be given a higher rank.

    • If the tie still persists, Candidates older in age will be given a higher rank.

    Odisha Diploma Admission Counselling 2025

    Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be considered for the Odisha Diploma counselling 2025. Odisha Polytechnic counselling is held online in two rounds and a spot admission round. Candidates having their names on the merit list of Odisha Diploma admission 2025 are qualified to participate in the counselling process. The eligible candidates have to complete the choice-filling process as per the schedule. Candidates have to make their preference of institute and trades. Seat allotment is done based on merit ranks, availability of seats, and choices locked by the candidates.

    • High School Certificate (HSC) /10 standard examination mark sheet and passing certificate

    • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST candidates)

    • Sports Certificate (if applicable)

    • NCC certificate (A, B, or C) issued by the appropriate authority (For candidates claiming reservation under NCC)

    • Green Card of the parent issued by concerned CDMO (For candidates claiming seats under the Green Card category).

    • Certificate in Form-II from the competent authority (for reservation under Ex-Servicemen Quota).

    Candidates with Z-Domicile have to produce the following certificates-

    a) Certificate of residence

    b) Mark sheet of HSC examination /10 standard examination issued by institute located in their State, declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha.

    Candidates with L-domicile have to produce the following certificates:

    a) Residential Certificate issued by Revenue Officer, not below the Rank of Tahasildar providing that the candidate belongs to outlying Oriya speaking tracts in Form-III (Part-I).

    b) Mark sheet of M.E. or H.S.C examination proving Oriya as a subject at M.E. or H.SC examination in Form-III (Part-II).
