Tie-Breaking Rule for AP EAMCET Result 2026
In case two or more candidates secure the same marks in the AP EAPCET exam, the authorities will use the following tie-breaking rule:
Candidates whose scores are high in the Mathematics section will be given priority
In case a tie still exists, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be placed high on merit
In case of a persistent tie after the above two steps, candidates with a high percentage of marks in the qualifying exam will be given priority
Candidates of higher age will be given priority in case of a tie after all the above rules
AP EAMCET Results 2026 - Rank List
The authorities will release the rank list of AP EAMCET 2026 along with the result. 100% weightage of the marks secured in AP EAMCET 2026 (Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) will be used for determining the overall ranking for admissions into professional courses. Earlier, candidates used to be ranked based on the AP EAMCET normalised marks (75% weightage) and 10+2 (25% weightage) in the order of merit.
