Established in 2001, Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU) is a private state university located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. DAIICT Gandhinagar, renamed as Dhirubhai Ambani University, is also accredited by NAAC with an “A+” grade. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. Hariom Mehta: I'm from Jamnagar.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Hariom Mehta: Kind of Related to the absence of Home food.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Hariom Mehta: Several activities like Fresher’s Weekend, Treasure Hunt and many more.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Hariom Mehta: Go to class, lab and have fun with friends.
Careers360: What facilities do you have on campus? What do you like here the most, which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Hariom Mehta: Freedom with rules, actually.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Hariom Mehta: Pretty good
Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail yourself of the requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Admission to the ICT branch at DAIICT depends on your GUJCET rank, board marks, category, and the year's cutoff. With around 85–90% in PCM and a 100+ score in GUJCET, there may be a chance for SEBC category students, but it depends on the final cutoff during counselling.
