Assam JLEE Eligibility Criteria 2020
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of Assam JLEE 2020 before applying for the exam. It should be noted that it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Any ineligibility found will result in the rejection of the application.
Assam JLEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be a permanent residence of Assam.
Candidates should have cleared a minimum of 3 years’ Diploma from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).
Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in the Polytechnic course. In case a candidate belongs to SC/ST category then the minimum eligibility aggregate percentage will be 40%.
Candidates who are appearing in their final examination will also be eligible to apply for Assam JLEE 2020 but they should have original marksheet along with the passing certificate on the day of admission.

* Assam JLEE 2021 – Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) will be conducting the common entrance exam for admissions to the second year BE/B.Tech Program for the academic year 2021-22. The application form of Assam JLEE 2021 has been released on June 2021 and the candidates can submit it by July 2021. It is an entry for admissions to the premier Engineering Colleges in Assam under the lateral entry scheme.
* These colleges include Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College . Final year students of Diploma are eligible to apply for entrance exams, BTech colleges as well as for jobs. If the eligibility criteria says that final year Diploma students are eligible to apply then they don't ask for the Diploma certificate. As you wouldn't receive it until you've completed your Diploma.

No, there is no provision for entry of NCC cadets directly or with any kind of preference..
