Assam JLEE 2020 - Assam Science And Technology University will conduct the common entrance exam, Assam JLEE 2020 tentatively in the first week of July. Assam JLEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates should be a permanent residence of Assam.

  • Candidates should have cleared a minimum of 3 years’ Diploma from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).

  • Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in the Polytechnic course. In case a candidate belongs to SC/ST category then the minimum eligibility aggregate percentage will be 40%.

  • Candidates who are appearing in their final examination will also be eligible to apply for Assam JLEE 2020 but they should have original marksheet along with the passing certificate on the day of admission.

Assam JLEE Application Form 2020

The examination authorities will release the application form of Assam JLEE 2020 tentatively in the last week of May. All the eligible candidates seeking lateral admissions to BE/B.Tech courses should fill the application form in a format prescribed. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria failing which will result in the disqualification of candidature.

Steps to fill Assam JLEE 2020 Application Form

  • Filling out the application form - Candidates will have to begin by filling out the details asked in the form such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc.

  • Uploading documents - After filling out the necessary documents, candidates will have to next upload a photograph and scanned signature in a format prescribed below.

  • Payment of application fee - Once all the details are entered correctly and the documents are uploaded in a prescribed format, candidates will have to proceed towards the payment. The application fee of Rs. 1000 will have to be paid through online mode (debit cards/credit cards/ net banking) or offline mode (state bank collect). Candidates who will pay through offline mode will have to generate a cash deposit by selecting the state bank of India option and will have to make a payment at any state bank of India branch.

  • Printout of the confirmation page - Finally, after completing all the above-mentioned steps, candidates should take a print of the confirmation page for future references.

Assam JLEE Exam Centres 2020

At the time of filling the online application form, candidates will get a chance to select and submit the choice of preference for the exam centre. Assam JLEE 2020 will be conducted in two examination centres - Guwahati and Jorhat. However, the number of examination centres may change according to the number of applicants. Candidates should ensure that they reach the allotted examination centre on the scheduled date and time.

Assam JLEE Admit Card 2020

The authorities will release the admit card of Assam JLEE 2020 tentatively in the last week of June for all the eligible candidates. Candidates will be able to access the admit card by visiting the official website. The admit card will include all the necessary details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, examination date and time, and examination centre. Assam JLEE 2020 admit card is an important document without which candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Assam JLEE Result 2020

Assam JLEE Cutoff 2020

The admission process will be done on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the Assam JLEE 2020. The authorities will release the cutoff of Assam JLEE 2020 which will be the minimum marks required by the candidates to get admission. The cutoff of each branch or institute will be different. Candidates who will meet the prescribed cut off will be eligible to participate in the Assam JLEE 2020 counselling.

Assam JLEE 2020 Counselling and Seat Allotment

The process of counselling and seat allotment of Assam JLEE 2020 will have two rounds which will be conducted in offline mode and candidates will have to reach the counselling venue on the scheduled date and time. Assam JLEE counselling 2020 will begin tentatively in the last week of July. After each round of counselling, merit list will be released on the basis of different factors and the seats in the institutes will be allotted to candidates. The process of counselling and seat allotment is explained below.

  • Online registration - All the eligible candidates will have to register to participate in the counselling process and will also have to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 600.

  • Choice filling - Candidates will also have to select the preferred course and branch. Candidates should carefully do this step as the merit list will largely be dependent on the choices filled.

  • Certificate verification - Candidates will have to carry all the relevant documents to the allotted centre to get them verified. Candidates should reach the venue for verification on the scheduled date and time.

  • Seat allotment - Finally, authorities will allot the seat to the candidates on the basis of choices filled by them. After the seats are allotted, candidates will have to pay their admission fee at the allotted institute.

The eligibility criteria of JLEE does not mention about the maximum age limit. It just need that you need to be resident of assam, have done at least 3 year diploma in any stream. Even the final year student can apply for this. For detail che k this link

Hello,

There is 4 eligibility rule. If you satisfy them all then you are eligible.

  1. should have pursued and qualified diploma(>=3 years duration) from any polytehnic institution which is affiliated under state board of assam
  2. Must have secured 45% minimum aggregate. if belongs to SC/ST then minimum aggregates is 40%.
  3. candidates who are permanent resident of assam are eligible. No other candidates are allowed
  4. candidates who are in their final  year can also apply provided they have to produce original certificate and marksheets.

There is minimum age limit which is 17.Maximum age limit is not given.

There is age criteria for JLEE.All you need is to have passed a recognized Diploma (Minimum 3 years duration) from any Polytechnic Institution affiliated to State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), Assam with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate in diploma examination.
Just one important thing you need to keep in mind is that only permanent residents of Assam will eligible for JLEE 2020.

The eligibility for admission in the information brochure of JLEE exam is as follow

Eligibility For Admission

To be eligible for Admission to any of the Colleges a candidate must fulfill the following conditions:-

(a) Recognized Diploma of Minimum 3 years duration from any Poltytechnic

Institution of Assam under State Council of Technical Education (SCTE)

(b) A minimum of Overall 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) must be scored in the

Polytechnic Course.

(c) Candidate must be a Permanent resident of Assam.

Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply but they must have to produce their Original Mark sheet along with Pass Certificate of the Final Diploma on the day of Admission.


They didn't mentioned the age limit in the information brochure, according to my understanding there is no age limit to apply for the exam.
