The registration process for Assam JLEE exam include application form filling, fee payment, and submission of documents. Candidates must to check the eligibility criteria of Assam JLEE 2025 before applying for the exam. It should be noted that it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they meet the prescribed Assam JLEE 2025 eligibility criteria. Any ineligibility found will result in the rejection of the application.
Candidates should be permanent residents of Assam.
Candidates should have cleared a minimum of 3 years’ Diploma from any Polytechnic Institution of Assam under the State Council of Technical Education (SCTE).
Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in the Polytechnic course. In case a candidate belongs to the SC/ST category then the minimum eligibility aggregate percentage will be 40%.
Candidates who are appearing in their final examination will also be eligible to apply for Assam JLEE 2025 but they should have an original marksheet along with the passing certificate on the day of admission.
The authority will conduct the Assam JLEE 2025 registration in online mode. The eligible candidates seeking lateral admissions to BE/B. Tech courses can fill out the application form in the format prescribed. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria failing which will result in the disqualification of candidature.
Step 1- Registration and Filling the application form - Candidates had to begin by filling out the details asked in the form such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, etc.
Step 2- Uploading documents: After filling out the necessary documents, candidates had to next upload a photograph and scanned signature in the format prescribed below.

Step 3- Payment of application fee: Once all the details are entered correctly and the documents are uploaded in a prescribed format, candidates must proceed toward the payment. The application fee of Rs. 1700 had to be paid through online mode (debit cards/credit cards/ net banking) or offline mode (state bank collect). Candidates who paid through offline mode were required to generate a cash deposit by selecting the State Bank of India option and then make a payment at any State Bank of India branch.
Step 4- Printout of the confirmation page: Finally, after completing all the above-mentioned steps, candidates had to take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.
At the time of filling out the online application form, candidates have to select and submit their choice of preference for the exam centre. Assam JLEE 2025 will be conducted in two examination centres - Guwahati and Jorhat. Candidates are required to reach the allotted examination centre on the scheduled date and time.

To be eligible for JLEE examination one needs to be permanent resident of Assam and also must complete diploma from Assam .
For your reference eligibility criteria of JLEE 2021 is provided below :-
You must pass a diploma of minimum 3 years from a polytechnic Institution affiliated to State Council of Technical Education , Assam.
You need at least 45% marks (40% if you are SC/ST) in aggregate in your diploma examination.
You must be permanent resident of Assam .
Those who are in final year of 3 year diploma are also provisionally eligible.

* Assam JLEE 2021 – Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) will be conducting the common entrance exam for admissions to the second year BE/B.Tech Program for the academic year 2021-22.
