This year in JoSAA round 5, NIT Goa recorded the biggest cutoff jump in CSE. The closing rank increased from 16,198 in 2025 to 26,898 in 2026, marking a rise of 10,700 ranks. On the contrary, the NIT Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) dropped 450 places in its last rank as 2025 was ranked at 4465 and 4015 in 2026.
