NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering - JoSAA released the round 1, 2 & 3 NITs cutoff 2025 for B.Tech Civil Engineering on the official website, josaa.nic.in. The NIT cutoff for BTech Civil Engineering is updated on this page. NITs BTech Civil Engineering cutoff 2025 are available for each round of JoSAA counselling. Admission to NITs is based on the rank of JEE Main. Various factors such as the difficulty level of JEE Main 2025, the previous year's cutoff, and the number of seats available decide the NIT cutoff 2025 for B.Tech CE.

Factors to determine the NITs cutoff 2025 for B.Tech Civil Engineering (CE)

NITs cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering depends upon the following factors:

  • JEE Main difficulty level
  • The overall performance of candidates in the entrance test
  • Previous year’s NITs cutoff
  • Number of applications received for admission to civil engineering programme
  • Total number of questions asked in the examination
  • The number of sanctioned seats in a particular NIT
  • The reputation of the Institute

What are the chances of NITs cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering (CE) increase or decrease?

Candidates must note that if the number of applications increases, the NITs cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering 2025 will also likely go up. Same way, if the number of sanctioned seats is lower, it can again push up the NIT cutoff 2025. Alternatively, if the number of seats is higher, the cutoff tends to be lower. Also, the reputation of the institute is a big factor as well; for example, the competition for seats, say at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, is likely to be higher than at NIT, Mizoram.
