    NITs Cutoff for BTech Civil Engineering 2026 - Check Opening & Closing Ranks

    NITs Cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering - The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced Round 1 NIT Civil Engineering cutoff 2026 on the at josaa.nic.in. The cutoff has been published in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to Civil Engineering courses offered by NITs through JEE Main. Among the participating institutes, NIT Tiruchirappalli closed admission at rank 25,480 for the Open category, making it one of the most sought-after choices for Civil Engineering aspirants. NIT Jaipur and NIT Rourkela followed with closing ranks of 26,633 and 27,811, respectively. Meanwhile, admission remained available up to rank 377,196 at NIT Mizoram, reflecting a wider admission range compared to other institutes. Candidates can use the Round 1 ranks to assess their chances of securing a seat in upcoming counselling rounds, the results of which will be released separately by JoSAA.

    • Total number of questions asked in the examination
    • The number of sanctioned seats in a particular NIT
    • The reputation of the Institute

    What are the chances of NITs cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering (CE) increase or decrease?

    Candidates must note that if the number of applications increases, the NITs cutoff for B.Tech Civil Engineering 2026 will also likely go up.
