NATA 2026 - The Council of Architecture will release the NATA 2026 notification on the official website, nata.in. NATA brochure will consist of all the information related to the entrance exam. Based on previous year trends, the NATA exam will be held every Friday and Saturday. NATA 2026 application form will be available from March 2026, tentatively. As per the NATA eligibility criteria, those who passed/ are appearing in 10+1/10+2 in PCM subject or 10+3 diploma exam with Mathematics as a compulsory subject will be able to apply for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Candidates will have to register during the week preceding the NATA exam date. Note that, the best score out of three attempts will be considered before the declaration of results. The score of the NATA test is valid for 2 academic years only. The authority will release the NATA 2026 admit card a few days before the test. The exam will be held in online and offline mode.
Students should go through the NATA syllabus and exam pattern to ace the exam. National Aptitude Test in Architecture will consist of Part A (Drawing and Composition Test) and Part B (MCQ and NCQ). The total duration of the exam will be three hours.
Those who clear the test will be able to participate in the NATA 2026 counselling process at individual institutes. Candidates will have to apply to the NATA score-accepting colleges separately. There is no centralised counselling.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an all-India level undergraduate exam held for admission to 5 year B.Arch and B.Planning programmes. It is conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA). The test is conducted in online and offline modes. COA conducts a comprehensive computer-based aptitude test at the Council allotted centres across the country every year. The Council of Architecture (CoA) is less likely to release the NATA 2026 answer key online on the official website. The answer key of NATA 2026 will comprise of correct answers for the questions framed in the NATA exam. The exam conducting authority has announces the NATA qualifying marks in the brochure. As per previous year brochure, applicants will have to score 60 aggregate marks out of 200 to qualify the exam. Moreover, candidates must score a minimum of 20 marks in Part A and Part B individually. To prepare cutoff of the exam conducting authorities have to consider various factors including the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, seat availability, and the previous year's cutoff trends.
After the declaration of the NATA 2026 result and cut off, the NATA counselling process will start. The counselling process will be conducted online mode by the institutes separately. Candidates will have to apply for the counselling process based on NATA score. Institutes offering BArch and/or BPlanning admissions will conduct separate counselling for admissions.

No, you cannot directly do M.Arch after B.Tech in Computer Engineering. M.Arch (Master of Architecture) requires a B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) degree as a basic qualification.
NATA is for admission to B.Arch, not M.Arch. So, after B.Tech, you cannot use NATA to enter M.Arch.
If you want to do M.Arch, you must first complete B.Arch.

- Eligibility criteria: Qualification completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks. Age limit is minimum 17 and upper age limit is generally not fixed, that varies by college.
