Amity University Noida B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyAmong Top 30 National Universities for Engineering (NIRF 2024)
Hello there,
Yes, if a candidate wishes to appear for both B.Arch and B.Tech admissions through KCET in Karnataka, they will receive two separate KCET ranks .
For B.Arch admission
: The rank will be based on a combination of
50% NATA
score and
50% 10+2 PCM
(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) marks.
For B.Tech admission : The rank will be determined based solely on the KCET entrance exam performance, with no consideration of NATA scores.
So, while both exams are conducted through KCET, the ranking system for B.Arch and B.Tech is distinct, and you will get a separate rank for each course.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
If you have successfully registered and paid the fee for KCET but cannot print the application form, check if the payment is updated on the portal. Log in to your account and ensure the application status shows "Payment Successful." If it's updated but still not printable, try using a different browser or clear the cache. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, contact the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) helpline or email them with your registration details for assistance. Keep the payment receipt as proof until resolved.
Yes, you can opt for PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) in your 12th to widen your options for KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) and increase your chances of getting into diverse fields. With PCMB, you are eligible for courses in both engineering (through Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) and medical or life sciences (through Biology). This allows you to appear for multiple entrance exams, like KCET for both engineering and medical courses, as well as other options like biotechnology, pharmacy, or BDS. However, managing the extra subjects requires careful time management and focus, so ensure you're comfortable with the additional workload.
The KCET cutoff for the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) program at the Veterinary College in Bangalore (GKVK) varies every year. Based on the past few years:
In 2023, the closing ranks for the General Merit (GM) category were around 398 in Round 1 and 1,144 in Round 2.
In 2022, the closing ranks were between 701 and 1,134.
This means that, generally, to get a seat in the BVSc & AH program at GKVK, you'd need to be within the top 1,000 in the KCET ranking.
Keep in mind that these cutoffs can change depending on the number of applicants, seat availability, and other factors, so it's always a good idea to check the official Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) website or contact the college directly for the most up-to-date information.

for taking admission in other private college , other colleges have their own criteria for admission which differ from college to college .
hope this helps .
