Careers360: Please introduce yourself and explain the key factors that influenced your decision to choose SRM A.P as your first preference.
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: I am currently a second-year student pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in AI & ML. I chose SRM A.P as my first preference due to its strong infrastructure, experienced faculty, strategic location, and the reputation of the SRM brand. The university’s focus on innovation and modern learning environments aligned well with my academic and career goals.
Careers360: What was the first thing that stood out to you about campus life at the institute, and what would you say are the campus’s key USPs?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: The first thing that stood out to me was the vibrant and inclusive campus environment. The university offers a perfect blend of academics and extracurricular activities. Key USPs include world-class infrastructure, a supportive academic ecosystem, a diverse student community, and a strong emphasis on holistic development.
Careers360: Could you highlight a few experiences from your journey so far that have been especially memorable?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: My journey has been filled with continuous personal growth. One of the most memorable aspects has been seeing my own development—learning to adapt, becoming more confident, and building meaningful friendships. Every day brings new opportunities, and that growth makes me proud to be a part of this institution.

Careers360: Do you feel comfortable approaching faculty members for guidance and support?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: Yes, absolutely. The faculty members are very approachable, friendly, and supportive. They not only guide us academically but also take an interest in our personal goals and help us develop our individual strengths.
Careers360: Can you tell us about your involvement in student clubs, societies, or other extracurricular activities and how they contributed to your overall experience?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: I am actively involved in the Student Council, where I initially worked in Public Relations and have now been selected as the Treasurer for the 2026–2027 term. This experience has significantly enhanced my leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Careers360: Are events such as cultural festivals, sports meets, and social activities organised regularly at the University? If so, did you participate, and how would you describe your experience?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: Yes, the university regularly organises a variety of events. I had the opportunity to serve as an organiser for Infinitus 2026, which was a highly enriching experience. It helped me develop teamwork, event management skills, and gave me exposure to large-scale coordination.
Careers360: Do you feel that the available classroom resources—including technology, library materials, and lab facilities—are sufficient for your learning needs?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: Yes, the resources are more than sufficient. The classrooms are well-equipped with modern technology, the labs are advanced, and the library is excellent. The library, located on a higher floor, also provides a great view, creating a very motivating and peaceful learning environment.
Careers360: How would you describe your interactions with the institute’s alumni, and how did they contribute to your academic or professional journey?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: The alumni network is strong and diverse, with graduates working in various fields. Their interactions and insights provide valuable guidance, helping us understand industry expectations and career pathways.
Careers360: What impact do you believe campus life has on a student’s academic progress and personal growth?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: Campus life plays a crucial role in shaping both academic and personal development. It helps build confidence, communication skills, and independence, while also fostering collaboration and leadership qualities.
Careers360: How would you rate your academic infrastructure? Would you suggest any changes?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: I would rate the academic infrastructure very highly. It is modern, well-maintained, and conducive to learning. While everything is well-organised, continuous upgrades and additions to resources will further enhance the experience.
Careers360: Would you suggest SRM A.P to friends and family, and why?
Hasitha Reddy Sanikommu: Yes, definitely. SRM A.P provides a balanced environment that supports both academic excellence and personal growth. It has truly become like a second home for me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-rounded educational experience.

Since srm is good college and it has a nation wise reputation, hence I don't think you can get any concession on the exam.
