Candidates can check the reservation percentage for GUJCET 2025 on this page. Students seeking admission under reserved seats must possess all the required documents. In addition to meeting the eligibility for reserved seats, students will have to meet the GUJCET eligibility criteria 2025. There are certain conditions and requirements that students belonging to the reserved category are required to meet to obtain seats under reservation. In case, candidates fail to meet the prescribed conditions for the GUJCET reservation criteria 2025, then the candidates will not be allotted seats in their selected category. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses reserves a certain percentage of seats for the students of reserved categories. All such candidates have to produce the necessary documents for the GUJCET 2025 reservation during the Gujarat CET counselling process. Candidates seeking admission through GUJCET 2025 reservation criteria will have to mandatorily produce a Certificate of Inclusion in the selected category. If the candidate belongs to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), then they will have to produce a certificate stating their non-inclusion in Creamy Layer along with the category certificate.
The caste certificate or non-inclusion in Creamy Layer certificate will not be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed, and issued by authorities empowered by the Government of Gujarat.
Candidates with disabilities have to submit their certificate of disability issued and signed by the authorities.
Candidates applying for admission under the Ex-Serviceman category will be required to submit a certificate issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
Candidates failing to produce the certificates within the allotted time, then he/she will be allotted through the unreserved category.
In case the certificates are found to be invalid during the verification process, the candidates will not be allowed admission through reservation. If the candidates are already allotted, then their reservations will be canceled.
Once all of the reserved category candidates are allotted into the seats, the remaining vacant reserved seats will be converted into unreserved category seats.

The eligibility criteria comprise education qualification, nationality, and domicile. Applicants must fulfil the GUJCET eligibility conditions to apply for the entrance test. Yes, if you are a domicile of Gujarat, your CBSE board marks are considered along with GUJCET for admission into engineering colleges in the state. The merit list is usually prepared by giving 60% weightage to your Class 12 marks and 40% weightage to your GUJCET score. It does not matter whether you studied under CBSE or Gujarat Board, as long as you have cleared Class 12 with the required subjects, your marks will be valid for the admission process.
The GUJCET Merit List is prepared based on the Class 12th marks and GUJCET marks received by the students. CBSE students who are not from the Gujarat board can definitely compete with GSEB students, as their eligibility is decided based on the combined marks scored by them in GUJCET and the 12th board. The weightage of the GUJCET score is 40% and the weightage of the class 12 scores is 60%.
