GUJCET Reservation Criteria 2020 - Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will release details about GUJCET 2020 reservation criteria for the reference of all candidates. The authorities will offer a certain number of seats under reservation criteria of GUJCET 2020 to candidates belonging to specific categories. All of the candidates applying for admission for these seats should meet the prescribed GUJCET reservation criteria 2020 and possess all of the required documents. The number of seats offered under GUJCET 2020 reservation criteria is different for each category. The candidates will also be required to fulfil the general eligibility criteria of GUJCET. If the candidates are unable to meet the reservation criteria of GUJCET 2020, then they will be allotted through unreserved category. Candidates who belong to special categories will have to meet the reservation criteria of GUJCET 2020 for allotment into the reserved seats. If the criteria is not met, then the candidates will not be allotted seats in their selected category. A certain percentage of seats as per the policies of Gujarat state will be reserved for the various categories. During counselling, the candidates will have to produce all of the necessary documents required for the reservation.

All candidates applying for reservation under GUJCET 2020 will be required to produce a Certificate of Inclusion in the selected category. If the candidate belongs to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), then they will have to produce a certificate stating their non-inclusion in Creamy Layer along with the category certificate.
It is to be noted that the caste certificate or non-inclusion in Creamy Layer certificate will not be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by authorities empowered by Government of Gujarat.
Candidates with disabilities will be required to submit their certificate of disability issued and signed by the authorities.
Candidates applying for admission under Ex-Serviceman category will be required to submit a certificate issued by the Director, Sainik welfare board, Gujarat or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer.
If the candidate fails to produce the certificates within the allotted time, then he/she will be allotted through unreserved category.
In case the certificates are found to be invalid during verification process, the candidates will not be allowed admission through reservation. If the candidates are already allotted, then their reservation will be cancelled.
After all of the reserved category candidates are allotted into the seats, the remaining vacant reserved seats will be converted into unreserved category seats.
The authorities will release the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2020 to let the candidates know the conditions and requirements that have to be met for admission into the participating institutes. If the candidates are not able to meet the criteria, then their candidature will be cancelled by the authorities.

Candidates should meet the domicile requirements of Gujarat
The candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination from a recognized board. Those candidates who will be passing the qualifying examination in 2020 will also be eligible.
General category candidates should have scored 45% marks in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. For SC/ST category candidates, the minimum marks to be secured is 40%.
GSEB had released the online application form of GUJCET 2020 on January 21. To participate in the examination and admission process, the candidates had to fill and submit the application form till February 15 (without late fee) and February 19 (with late fee). The candidates were required to register, pay the required fees, fill out the application form and take a print out for future use. All valid details had to be present in the application form. Only those candidates who submit the application form on time can download their admit card of GUJCET 2020.

GUJCET is conducted for 3 hours offline in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics and Chemistry will be conducted for 2 hours and Mathematics will be conducted for 1 hour.
