LIC BTech Scholarship 2025, popularly known as LIC Golden Jubilee scholarship, is provided by LIC to help students who want to pursue BTech, Diploma, ITI, and Vocational courses in India. Class 12th students are eligible to take benefit of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship for BTech. Eligible candidates will get an amount of Rs.30,000/- per annum to pursue higher education in the field of Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch). Selected students will get the amount every year in two installments of Rs 15000/-. The last date to apply for the LIC scholarship for BTech students is October 6.

Students pursuing Engineering, Medical, Graduation, Diploma & ITI are eligible to apply for LIC Golden Jubilee scholarship.
A special quota for girl students is also available.
Around 8960 General Scholarships and 2240 Girl Child Scholarships will be awarded.
Only one student per family will get the scholarship (with some relaxation for girls).
The last date to apply online for the LIC Golden Jubilee scholarship is October 6, 2025. Previously, candidates had to submit the online applications by September 22, 2025.
The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation Scholarship 2025 is a financial support scheme for students from families with an annual income not exceeding ₹4,50,000. The main goal is to help bright students get access to higher education and better job opportunities.
To avail the LIC Engineering scholarship, students must obtain a minimum of 60% marks in class 12th (or equivalent/Diploma). Their family income should be less than 4.5 lakhs per annum. Additionally, they must have gained admission in the 2025-26 batch to BTech, BE, BArch, Graduation, Diploma, Integrated, or Vocational courses.
Class 10 students with less than 4.5 lakh family income per annum can also get the scholarship. However, they must get admission to Class 11, 12, Diploma, or ITI in 2025-26
There is a special scholarship for Girls who have passed Class 10 with at least 60% marks. Additionally they got admission in Class 11, 12, Diploma, or ITI in 2025-26 and their parents’ annual income is less than ₹4,50,000.
Candidates should follow the below given steps to apply for the LIC engineering scholarship. While filling the online application, candidates must check all the eligibility norms. The details required to fill in the form are Personal Information like Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Address, Nationality, Class 10 academic details, Class 12 academic details, Courses selected and bank account information.

Fill in all the requisite details and upload necessary documents ( such as income certificate, mark sheet, bank details).
Now, submit the online form before the last date.
After submitting the online form, candidates are advised to download the confirmation page and keep it safe for future reference.
BTech / Engineering / BArch – ₹30,000 per year (₹15,000 each semester).
Diploma / ITI / Vocational Courses – ₹20,000 per year.
Special Girl Child Scholarship – ₹15,000 per year (for 2 years).
The scholarship amount is directly transferred to the bank account of the student via NEFT.
Students can avail the scholarship for the entire duration of the course (excluding internships). While the duration for special scholarship for girls is 2 years.
The authorities will select the suitable candidates based on merit and income criteria. Priority will be given to students whose parental income is less than ₹2,50,000. If there will be a tie, the preference is given to lower-income families. The final approval will be of LIC Divisional Offices.
Engineering & Medical students must secure a minimum 55% marks each year.
Graduation and other courses – minimum 50% marks.
Girls under special scheme – must pass Class 11 with at least 50% marks.
