Candidates will be required to meet certain conditions and eligibility requirements for recruitment into the posts offered by OMPL.
The upper age limit for candidates belonging to the UR category is 28 years. A relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for the OBC-NCL category. Candidates having a minimum 40% disability in the PwD category will be eligible for 10 years of relaxation.
Should have a valid GATE 2026 score in the respective paper.
Candidates should have passed the qualifying degree examination and should have secured a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in the applicable streams from recognized Indian institutes/Universities.
Candidates belonging to Unreserved, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree examination. SC/ST/PwD candidates should have scored 55% aggregate marks.
Should have obtained a qualifying degree from UGC-recognized Indian University/UGC-recognized Indian Deemed University or an AICTE-approved Autonomous Indian Institution/Concerned Statutory Council/Board of Technical Education.
If the University awards CGPA/OGPA/Grade, then the equivalent percentage can be calculated based on the formula provided by the authorities of the University for converting the grade to percentage. If the University has not prescribed any formula, then the marks will be calculated by multiplying the CGPA/OGPA/Grade by a factor of 10. However, for this, the candidate will have to submit documentary proof that the University has not provided any formula for conversion of CGPA/OGPA/Grade to percentage.
Candidates having five years BE/B. Tech + ME/M. Tech-integrated dual degree in engineering in a relevant discipline will be considered eligible.
M.Tech students who have completed B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc degree and having a valid GATE 2026 score will also be eligible.

Step 1 - Filling of Form: In the first step, the candidates will have to go to the official website and click on “Registration”. The required details, such as name, gender, category, date of birth, communication address, and more, have to be submitted by the candidates.
Step 2 - Uploading of Documents: Next, the candidates will have to upload their photograph, signature, and GATE 2026 scorecard according to the specifications mentioned by the authorities. The category certificate also has to be uploaded if applicable.
Step 3 - Submission of Application Form: After reviewing the filled application form, the candidates will have to submit it.
Step 4 - Payment of Application Fee: Candidates will have to pay the application fee through online mode (net banking/credit card/debit card). SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Serviceman category candidates are not required to pay the application fee. The registration number will be generated and sent to the candidate’s email ID or mobile number after the application process is completed.

Shortlisted candidates will have to verify their documents for the group discussion/group task and personal interview. Original and self-attested photocopies have to be produced for verification.

Registered candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2026 performance. The marks obtained out of 100 in the GATE 2026 scorecard will be taken into consideration. Candidates will be called for the further selection process in the ratio of 1:5 (i.e., 1 Post: 5 candidates).
The shortlisted candidates will have to go through group discussions/group tasks and personal interviews.
The authorities will prepare the final merit list by giving 85% weightage to GATE 2026 marks and 15% weightage to scores obtained by the candidates in group discussions/group tasks and personal interviews.
Selected candidates will be placed on probation for one year as per Company Rules in E1 grade. An annual CTC of Rs. 9,00,000 will be offered to the selected candidates through GATE 2026. The annual CTC will cover basic pay, HRA, other allowances, Provident Fund, and Gratuity. The other benefits shall apply to the respective grade as per company rules.
